Sora Mugenshi, a target for relentless bullying, ends up in a coma after being shoved down a flight of stairs. Confronted by a mysterious voice offering a new beginning, he awakens to find his family dead and his brother missing. Filled with despair, he confronts one of his bullies on the rooftop of the school before plummeting off the edge. Yet, in the darkness of his mind, Sora is reincarnated into a mystical realm where death is not the end.
