This is an excellent poem with humor and cunning phrases and all the good things one would expect of a poem from such an excellent writer of short stories.
I highly recommend it, for anyone who has an interest in fun things even if not much interested in poetry. I know I've heard of but never read the original, but the flow and rhythm of this poem caught me up effortlessly. It's an admirable feat, at least so far as this poetry-ignorant reader can dare attest.

So you ever heard about The Raven by that famous poet dude?, no?, well me neither till my school made me read it, for your information one of the older episodes of the Simpsons does tell the story very accurately, however this one its a lot funnier than that one.

A quaint version of The Raven redone with a cat instead, some of the imagery is hilarious and this is well worth the read. It is fun because of all the little quirks, such as the bust and how the catto is well, a bit dangerous given its exploits. And it has a good reason for a talking cat. Fun!

    Not the movie musical (2019).
An excellent adaptation of that poem done by that guy. I like the term retelling to adaptation. For it has clear lineage but Mad Sadie from their perspective has told the tale again and it has come out different, but as brilliant and similar.
I spotted no issues and found the usage of 2010/2020's internet vocab to be an inspired choice.
I see no room for growth for this one and thus I rate it a five star.
