Description

(This novel is on a hiatus while I work on others, don't expect a finished narrative anytime soon, I am really sorry.)

In 2021, an inexplicable global shockwave wreaked havoc upon the modern world, now a shadow of its former self. Less than 1% of the population survived and was forced into urban shelters amidst all of the destruction. Since the fateful day, children began to develop exceptional abilities, to which one could refer as magic.

Four years later, Ken and his younger sister Charlotte live in Nataran, one of the most thriving shelters known for its resource expeditions which he is a part of. One day, a tour goes horribly wrong, but Ken is rescued by a mysterious woman - an elf from another world. This discovery makes him rethink the cause of the initial apocalypse and sparks the possibility of a new hope for humanity.

The story starts off with a short introduction to Ken's life who wants a better future for his sister. Early in the story, the plot gets introduced and drags the reader deeper into the story. It creates a sense of impending doom by using good dialogue and actions to fully illustrate what exactly is happening. People who enjoy a well-written story should give this a read.
    Story
The premise of the plot is interesting and well-executed. It flows logically and knows how to keep the readers interested to know more. The events are developed properly and the pacing isn’t rushed. The overall plot of the story is still developing in a good direction.
    Style
The story is written in 3rd POV. There is a lot of dialogue that feels natural and important. The action also helps drive the story forward. It is written carefully to make sure the reader understands things clearly.
    Grammar
The grammar is really good with very few minor mistakes.
    Characters
I feel like the characters are the weakest part of the story. They are sort of cliche but I hope the author is able to further develop them. There aren’t many descriptions of the appearances of the major characters.
    Closing
I do enjoy reading the story. The author has properly developed the story and everything makes sense.
