Astrid, a mischievous noble teen, long dreamed of exploring the ancient cities preserved beneath the waves, left behind from a time before the ocean swallowed the world.
When an ancient monster long thought dead assaults humanity's last bastion, a floating ship-city, she awakens her System early–only, she's not a warrior as expected, but forced to walk the path of a [Psychokinetic].
With Spawn infested oceans, pirates looking to plunder, and mysterious monsters that lurk within Bubbled-Cites at the bottom of the ocean. Safety is anything but guaranteed.
She’ll learn to trip; levitate, throw objects, eyeball pulling, all the way to the apex of psychic powers.
But, what happens when she discovers that her world was a lot larger than she–and the rest of humanity, once thought?
[Psychokinetic] Eyeball Pulling is a laid back story about a young girl who has a craving for adventure and fighting. No longer will she need to resort to laborious activities, including, but not limited to; picking up stuff, carrying stuff, or even throwing stuff! Everything can be done with her mind! This is the first serious litRPG I am writing, and I am considered a new author. So please be kind! What to expect from this story:

- AleisterGroutRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0this story starts off with some a mysterious system and only more mysteries and action grow from there, i love the world building in this story as well as a they system and characters if you haven't started this series then i suggest you do so, ok so it say i gotta use 50 word but i find that to be a bit unnecessary, any ways the story is good pick it up for an awesome read
- Atomic CalmRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This really scratched a telekinesis itch I never knew I had. Stats go up, eyeballs get pilfered. Contains close battles, cool powers, and lots of fun.
The MC is much more than an uncaring OP battle junkie. Rather, she is a caring OP battle junkie! She cares about protecting her friends, family, and even humanity as a whole.
She also really cares about plucking out her enemies' eyeballs.
Yes the MC is strong for her level (perhaps OP), but the fights are never trivialized since she often finds herself pitted against monsters way out of her league.
Would definitely recommend to fans of the genre! - Dennis ARoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I've read books 1 and 2 on RR and Kindle as well as the patron. In those books the writing was decent. I'm not sure if a rougher draft is being released now for Book 3 or if the author is struggling to keep up with their posting schedule but the writing quality has very much dropped. Paragraphs are becomming hard to read with incorrect tenses, wrong word choices, and unclear wording. More and more the writing style read like a poorly translated xanxia with exagerated declarations that are immediately contradicted or things stated in one paragraph only to be repeated in the next.
I'll wait for Book 3 to make it to Kindle and hope it has received a few more editing passes by then. - EmEsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A fast paced, action packed litrpg that doesn't come across as rushed. The grammer is practically perfect but the story really shines in its potrayal of the mc. A very hard working, energetic young woman who takes her fate into her own hands. If you like azarinth healer, give this novel a try.
- Lord RuneRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Very fun read, the world isn't the stereotypical fantasy land, and i like the theme of the city and all its layers
I really like the mcs character she has already shown flows that she puts effort into solving (although they are mostly combat ones) she enjoys fighting but still remains calm and logical without losing herself to panic or bloodlust. She also has a great sense of duty for her people and will most likely try to help the low class later on.
Her specialization is basically matter control or telekinesis and as the stories name says she does a lot of eye poping...some explosions too but mostly eye poping and skull crushing - PriapusTheQuestionableRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Eyeball Pulling is a fun litRPG, leaning towards the comic side of the genre somewhat, but never at the expense of the story or setting. Definitely worth a look if you like good LitRPGs.
The main character is a lot of the draw for me: a brash young noblewoman from a very martial noble subculture, who fits poorly into her own social class, has an extremely strong sense of her obligation towards the lower classes, and twin yens for adventure and ultraviolence.
Style: I like the style, and the author does comedy, tension and drama well.
Story: The lore of this setting is quite interesting, and is mostly revealed in a well-paced manner. Astrid's personal journey is also quite well-paced and interesting.
Grammar: Honestly, it's let down by the grammar a little. The occasional wrong word, misplaced apostrophe, and so on. It's a bit grating at times, but I have become somewhat oversensitive to such since I became a beta reader, and they aren't higely common.
Character: The main character both entertaining for her manic-seeming behaviour sheer lack of regard for what enyone else thinks of her, but there are also some interesting tensions bubbling away beneath her surface that make her a lot more than just a comedy character. The supporting cast for the most part are quite well-written, and all feel like their own people. - RaizutoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Man this story....It's fun, it's crazy & a blast. Can't get enough of this MC & the story overall. It's a super interesting way to go LitRPG without isekai being involved. Again can't wait to see where the story & MC goes!
If you like violence, gore & stats, you definitely should read this story! - Zodiac36GoldRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Bad title joke aside, let us begin by stating this: this book is hilarious!
The protagonist, Astrid, is a noble girl who's been training all her life to become a magic swordsman. She lives on a giant ship Made in England in Waterworld. And the belly of the ship is filled with fish monsters.
Seems like a promising start already, but then add to that how she was, quite literally, slapped in the face by her Skill. No, I will not explain what I mean, it's funnier this way.
And to that add the fact that the System in charge of her acts like a child on a sugar high. This is the perfect mix to start a funny adventure with a surprisingly deep (pun intended on multiple levels) Lore with a some fighting chapters that will make you stay sticking to the monitor of your devices for more.
The grammar is flawless, with only the occasional typo that people will glass over unconsciously if they're not looking for them, and the characters are one better than the other, ever so slowly evolving into better versions of themselves.
All in all, 10 out of 10, you should really give this book a chance! You won't regret it. - GrahznRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5So I will be honest and say this is not the most complex story, nor are it's characters the most deep.
but you know what it is? Satisfying. It keeps up a decent pace without ever rushing, keepings bringing new things without becoming overwhelming.
It's a lot like fried food, is it fine art? No. Is it good? Yes.
This Review isn't for the Author, they know what they are doing, It's for the reader!
want a nice light, occassionally intense read? This is your story, I feel it is one of the better ones on RR to go down the route of the 90's block buster action movie way of entertainment without becoming a hollow shell of a story.
Just remember to keep your eyes open. - LUCIFER666666Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5Took about two days to binge up to current chapter, solid read.
Style score is a 5 out of 5, the story flows following only the perspective of the main character.
Story Score is a Tentative 5 out of 5, there is history that is established in the world and while it isn't explicitly dove into it would be nice to read a blurb about the world Astrid runs around in more than just putting together a jigsaw puzzle.
Grammar Score is a 4.5 out of 5, I'm glad to say I didn't see any errant apostrophes. I did however see one use of the word "Learnt" where taught, instructed or tutored would fit better. Alternatively learned would fine as well. Another big bonus here is no confusing gender mistypes.
Character score is a 4 out of 5 much like the world building we get new characters without much backstory and are left to hunt through Astrids' internal monologue to find the pieces of their puzzle. There is nothing wrong with this style of writing it's just something I am personally not a fan of.
Overall score here would be 4.75 - 4.88 providing a range because if the grammar from that one specific instance gets corrected it still wouldn't change my totals by much. Additional thoughts in the spoiler below.
Give up on the daggers and run around with flying swords instead. Stand on top of a sheathe and surf the skies. More eyeball yanking damnit.
