Prospect

Prospect is a short story, following the life of a young mercenary in the middle ages. Once well-refined in his line of work. Now, he has fallen to a new low after a tragedy and is unable to recover his once-effective skills. His worry about when he may fall in battle soon comes to a head, and his true character is tested in the face of death.
