Description
Lilith is a space soldier of the United Nations military in 2195, bearing the title of Lieutenant in the UN-Charon. A mission to intercept space pirates goes wrong as the pirate ship is infested by a newly discovered race of alien creatures known as Rachnids, which kill her crew. Even though she manages to kill the aliens, she is heavily wounded and thought dead... Until she awakens a hundred years later, in an unknown laboratory, with half of her body now replaced by biomechanical implants, including an assistant AI which helps her get used to her body, and some unwanted tag-alongs.
She gets greeted by an entire new reality where humanity is just a small species in the galactic civilization, where dozens of alien races live together, and people now use a freshly created technomagic to interact with the world.
Lilith has to manage her return to duty, and adapt to this new reality, but her return is about to bring forth great changes... to the whole galaxy and more.

- EnaDeAlbaRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The story progresses at a quick pace and manages to be interesting from the start with the protagonist being thrown 100 years into the future (And already being in the future since the start).
The whole plot of evil corporation, aliens, even a couple of mythos seems to blend in well so far, probably because it doesn't dwindle too much on specific points and just advances, at least so far. - coinflipRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5There are things I search for in a story and there are things i avoid. While this story has many of the former:
A protagonist, that has something to differentiate them from everybody else
Sci-fi and until now a good amount of worldbuilding.
and some others
It also has a few of the latter, which, in this case, make the story unattractive to me:
The main one is, that the protagonist is a slave:
Spoiler : A big Coorperation can kill her whenever and explicitly says that the protagonist is their property.
That alone means that the main caracter has no agency and I get the feeling that all decisions the protagonist makes are irrelevant because they are always just what the "master" approves of.
Spoiler : In this story it is especially frustrating because, until now, the slavery doesnt have any effect on the plot: the protagonist wanted to fight regardless and there could habe been a similar relation between the coorp and Lilith if she were dependant on theire recources. Then she could at least make her own decisions like leaving. It would be costly but possible.
If, however, you can tolerate this, I would recommend this story. It is entertaining and the fast pace and minimal internal monologue concerning trauma make this easiely digestible.
The rating would be normally be 4,5 stars but I can only give 3,5 because of my personal dislike for the aforementioned point.
