- Genisyn69Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Definitely a worthy read in the LitRPG category.
Not as exciting as some other stories in the genre, but its well written and engaging (aka OP toons, at least as of book 2 ending, there is fast progression though), and interesting enough to hold a sort of slice-of-life in a world with immersive tech. With enough crumbs of deep plot both in game and outside to keep you engaged with the MC and those around him. All in All I would recommend it (book 4 is soon to be released, just bought book 3 to read it. So this review is written as I finished book 2 off of amazon kindle for PC)
comparison: Its a lot like the 'way of shaman' book series, but without some of the ridiculous angst and circular thinking that plagues that particular set of novels( book 5-6 of that series) - JohnbonkenRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The translator did a great job bringing this story to life. It is well written, the actual story is interesting and I had fun reading it on amazon. if you have kindle unlimited you can read the whole thing there for free.
- whomightub3Royal Road★★★ 3.0It's a wonderful story about a guy in a bad situation, being given things he doesn't deserve nor did he earn, and being a jerk about it. He then auto-pilots his way to victory. Very well written though. I'll read the sequel for that alone.
