- DhannettRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a very cool read! Its so interesting to me that the author has made reading this story feel like I was playing a video game. I have never experienced anything like this before!!! It kept me wanting to keep reading. I really hope to read more stories like this in the future.
- FoubeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a wonderful beginning to a destiny-driven adventure. The introduction is such a different take on the genre, and getting to see someone oversee the changes in real time gives a point of mystery. The prose is solid, and the author creates a wonder dynamic with the MC and his friends. I look forward to seeing where this story goes from here!
Excellent work! - SuperSarahRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Think DnD meets magic, but with a twist. Our guy Sinclair starts as just an ordinary dude and then BAM! He's got this crazy destiny thing going on. The whole adventure vibe of the book is just wild.
The writer's got this easy-going style that makes you feel like you're chatting with a friend. No highbrow language or anything; just a good, solid story that's fun to follow.
Now, I do wish I could've gotten to know some of the side characters a bit more, but that didn't take away from how much I enjoyed this book. The world-building is top-notch too. You can almost feel the heat in those tunnels.
In a nutshell, 'Legacy Rebirth' is just a good time. It's one of those books that doesn't take itself too seriously but delivers on the action and adventure. Grab it if you're looking for a fresh take on LitRPG. It's a wild ride, and I can't wait to see where it goes next! - barbarianfriarRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0An amazing read! If you haven't read this new book by American Highlander you are missing out. It has everything you would expect from LITRPG and more. There is no reason this shouldn't have a place in every fiction lover's bookshelves. It's that good. The worst part? The series hasn't been fully released and I have to wait to see what happens next. Shame shame lol
- LagForgeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0If this is your first book, I truly look forward to what is to come… well done thus far. Definitely a unique twist on a fantasy book. This takes me way back to my childhood books when all of us were reading Gary Gygax’s works. I’m looking forward to your next book!
- Lord_of_AvalonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0NB: Spoilers ahead
Fitting to the Norse theme this story reads like an epic. Another overpowered yet quite interesting MC. Quite a unique Class of a mixture of Melee: Axe welding, primary strength and endurance attributes + Ranger:animal campion, enhanced sense, javelin throwing +caster: may wield ice magic in the future.
The author's grammar is also top notch. The story is well conveyed without stumbling, each meaning clear. Information is well given without it being an info dump - LtCroakerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Itharnon crafted a very nice novel for his first effort. The pacing is well done and the plot is believable. Characters are well developed and drag you along. Scenes are described in a way that makes you feel you are there but does not take 14 pages to describe a tree. I cannot wsit until the sequel is published.
- ScarletSparrowRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Progenitor's Burden is a remarkable LitRPG story. The plot unfolds smoothly with a steady rhythm, so even if you might feel a bit puzzled in the first chapter, I still wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional work to all LitRPG enthusiasts.
As an indispensable component of LitRPG, the detailed system panels and character attribute advancements provided by Itharnon are exhilarating. The system-generated task arrangements also create well-fitted bridges between plot segments, making the protagonist's gradual empowerment and mastery of skills commendable.
Simultaneously, Itharnon's intricate and skillful depiction of combat scenes is undoubtedly praiseworthy. In every battle within this work, readers can vividly visualize each forceful attack and the damage inflicted on enemies through the meticulously arranged words.
Regarding characters, the portrayal of the protagonist's growth and inner workings has genuinely sparked my interest. Additionally, the well-crafted characterization of supporting characters reflects the author's dedication and thorough research. Whether in the phrasing of character dialogues or their behavioral logic, one can discern their unique traits and personalities.
In summary, this is a work with great potential, and I'm eagerly looking forward to the stories that Itharnon will bring us in the future.
Since this is Book 1, we can certainly anticipate more adventures, right? - Shotputter4Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0As an avid reader and new to this website, I had the pleasure of coming across this book. Although the book is still a work in progress, I wanted to take a moment to share my early impressions and offer some constructive feedback.
First and foremost, I must commend the author for their courage and ambition in embarking on this writing journey. Writing a book is no small feat, and it requires dedication, creativity, and perseverance. It's exciting to witness the birth of a new voice in the literary world.
The author's storytelling ability shows great potential. Even in the early stages, I could sense a captivating narrative taking shape. The concept behind the book is intriguing, and the characters have started to come to life. There is a palpable sense of enthusiasm and imagination woven throughout the pages.
While the author has a talent for painting vivid scenes and creating relatable characters, there is room for further development. The pacing of the story could benefit from more consistency, particularly in the transitions between different plot points. Additionally, a bit more attention to detail in certain areas, such as dialogue and descriptive passages, would enhance the overall reading experience.
As this is the author's first book, it is understandable that there might be some rough edges. However, I believe that with time, practice, and the guidance of an editor, these areas of improvement can be addressed effectively. The potential I see in this author's work is genuinely promising, and I am excited to see how their writing journey unfolds.
In conclusion, I would like to offer my encouragement and support to this new author. Writing a book is a tremendous accomplishment, and even at this early stage, their passion and talent shine through. With further refinement and honing of their craft, I have no doubt that this author has the potential to captivate readers with their future works. I eagerly anticipate the completed book and am confident that it will - SoulFireMageRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm enjoying this one immensely. It's pretty well done, with an interesting little twist on how he gets to be a little OP. It's fairly fast progression, which does risk stats becoming meaningless later on in the story, but this hasn't happened yet. He's avoided the murderhobo route for OP progression but there is plenty of action early on. I came to this story during my usual search for some candy after dropping a few terrible tales and it was a pleasant surprise.
Nice job, will be following. Thank you.
