- Kees TimmerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0very good, much wholesome
///////////////////////////////////////////////// - Frosty NipsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Honestly. It slaps. If you're looking for some light comedy read this.
- RazRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0First off, I never read the original. Despite this I still found this book to be quite good, and honestly not knowing the character or lore doesn't detract from the experience.
style: enjoyable, I find all ravens work to be quite fun to read.
grammer:No errors that I could find
story: I find the fact the the story is so good for what is essentialy a slice of life story about an op Mc goofing around amazing. It's genuinely enjoyable, makes sense, and has some progression which when combined with the laid back Nature makes it Incrediby fun to read. The fact that you also get to see the Mc acting like a badass and scaring the shit out of people only makes it better.
Character: I love the main character and each of the supporting characters makes it better. Most of them are fleshed out and each has their own distinctive personality and motivations. - Boris MorenoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0One of my favorites Fanfiction keep the good work
Spoiler: Spoiler - autumnleafRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I stumbled upon this novel by chance, but boy was I glad I did! Right off the bat, I was hooked to the story--the author does a great job in explaining the background of the story without giving too much of an info dump. Even though I am not as familiar with Worm as I was with RWBY, you do not need to know the worlds in advance. The novel's well-written to the point that if you don't really know the characters beforehand, it's almost as if you are reading an original story, with original characters and all.
To start off, I very much enjoyed the style that it was written with. Interwoven throughout the novel, there is action, there's intrigue, there is comedy, there is fluff and so much more. I could not count the times I found myself grinning at the dynamics between Salem and Skitter (or Akelarre as she is called in this story) as we see a different side to how the villain character Salem get transformed into a mother for the latter. Not to mention the countless times I chuckled at the cute little sapphic interactions Akelarre comes across.
She even get's a little harem going on!
The author does a pretty great job of fleshing out the characters for the most part and I was very impressed on how well the characters (from what I knew) sounded like their original selves and how realistic their interactions with each other seemed.
All in all, besides some minimal errors in grammar within the story, the only suggestion I have is the epilogue. Personally, it would've made more sense to end it the chapter before because the epilogue was a little random in where it was going and to me, it didn't really make sense in conjunction to the story as a whole and introduced a whole new concept while not really delving into it. Instead of tying up things neatly, it opened a whole Pandora's box. It might be a personal thing, but I felt like it unraveled the story a bit.
However, on the whole, I loved this story. This novel was the RWBY/Worm Crossover that I didn't know I needed. A bad - Cruel SaintRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I don't know too much about the RWBY universe but the characters are written well enough to stand on their own that I felt my lack of knowledge didn't hamper my enjoyment of the story.
The story was filled with wholesome moments and shenanigans, so it was a fun read overall. The characters are written so adorably, I'm afraid I now have diabeetus :)
The only thing I wish was more fleshed out was the epilogue. It was fine on its own but I didn't get a sense of closure with most of the characters. I like to end a story knowing where people are at especially if there was a time skip however thats just a personal preference. I suppose its a credit to the writer that they made me care enough about the characters for me to want that kind of conclusion. - HitfranRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I recently finished reading Worm and in my search for more content i stumbled upon this work, written by a certain bird, its a cute story with some NSFW elements here and there that can be easily skipped, it can be enjoyed without knowing neither RWBY nor Worm, though I would recomend knowing about one of them to enjoy the story more.
One of the problems about this story is that Taylors personality is quite different from her original one, but this can be cause due to the fact that she lost most of her memories.
In conclusion, its a cutesy somewhat NSFW that i recommend if you didnt really like all the angst that Worm gave - KellhusRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I have been reading Raven's fics over at SV and SB, and I'm very happy to see one of them here. (I hope he will post the others too)
About the fic: it is a fan ficiton, so knowlege of the original will definitly help, but I believe that even without that, anyone could enjoy it. It is a lighthearted and fun slice of life story, with a, for the setting, op MC. ( now, don't mind her op-ness, those who know Worm, will now, that she more then earned it a :))
It's a good one, so have fun reading it - ZakirusRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I have no knowledge of RWBY or Worm, but I kinda wanna check out both thanks to this story. I found it an enjoyable read that left me feeling good inside. The main character is adorable in a "I can kill you with a thought" kind of way and the side characters had their own personalities and quirks.
The only crime this book has done to me is that it ended too soon. - Zachary MarksonRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This is effectively a case study in how I define good fanfiction: I can actually hear the characters' voice actors in my head as I read the lines. And while Taylor doesn't have a voice actress (yet. get on that shit Wildbow!) every action that Akellare does in this fic is just so quintessentially... Taylor. So keep on writing you crazy bastard!
