This Good. I like. Good story. The characters are very fleshed and nuanced. The lore is super interesting and I'd like to see a bestiary of it all. The art is amazing and the villain is such a bad person I like him. My favorite character has to be Nuncio. He seems like a underdog and I hope to see more of him
    Yeah story good

Now full disclosure: I'm a friend of the author and one of the ones who helped him in the development of this story. I may be a bit biased and so take my review with a bit of a grain of salt. I've both talked with them and read ahead farther then the current chapters. With that said:
I absolutely loved it. Really enjoy the characters and the world. It has a very deep history with a lot of interesting ideas in it. I can only say so much without big spoilers at this point but anyone who reads this is in for a really good adventure. Trials and Tribulations. Heartbreak and Tragedy. Overcoming Adversity and an overall great time. I'll be keeping up with this and his future endeavours and I hope plenty of readers do to.

Before the review, I have read the story in its entirety in advance of it being posted here in full (I won't spoil it, I promise) and I have been one of Knight's readers for a long time. His writing has only improved over time and Prince of the Wild was worth the wait.
The story has a bit of everything. Horror, comedy, angst, despair, hope and romance all shine through thanks to the wonderful and memorable cast of characters who play their part in this tale of adventure.  Each and every character we are introduced to has a history which, while perhaps not explicitly described to the reader, is still on display through the words and actions of the characters themselves.  These histories tie in well with the world in which the characters live, one with concepts and ideas which are not spoon fed to the reader but instead are built up and inferred by the reader as the story progresses.
When you finish reading this tale, you will have a story which comes to a satisfying conclusion but which leaves you still hungry for more.  I hope that those of you who see this review give the story a chance and I look forward to more of Knight's work.
For those who have already read through some or all of this tale, Blessings of the Wild upon you.

Style: Overall, this story has a very charming tone. A nice mix of comedy and horror with neither distracting too much from the other. The constantly switching POV the author employs is well done with most main characters receiving a rather good balance in terms of focus. The prose is on the stronger side as well. Only complaint holding it back is that the fight scenes could definitely be stronger and that a scene every now and then could use some time to sit on the emotion before moving on.
Story: The plot flows really well and naturally, being informed by the decisions of the characters rather than happenstance the majority of the time. It is very rare for characters to make OOC decisions for the sake of advancing the plot and exposition is mixed in well. Not too much is provided at once, usually just enough to understand what is happening when needed. Only critique that makes me dock half a point is that there is the occasional thing I wish was foreshadowed a bit better before a tense encounter. Nowhere near all the time of course, but it does occur.
Grammar: The aspect I'll be most critical of. While nowhere near bad, grammatical errors do pop up. It's usually not too much, just a few pronoun screw-ups here and there or some oddly placed/missing commas every now and then, but it is annoying when you notice them.
Character: Definitely the best aspect of the story. Everyone given focus is well-defined, consistent, and interesting. Interactions are very well-done and there are almost no characters who don't bounce off each other well. Sal and Old Badger are particular standouts I will note.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable read and I'm eager to see where it goes. Highly recommend it.
