Prince Felderon looks on his own darkness and finds himslef repugnant. He flees but the mirrors, one black and one white, continue to reak havoc.
This is an eloquently worded beginning to what I think will become an amazing story. The idea of having one mirror showing the lies of beauty whielt the other shows the truth in darkness is a unique idea.
The story has just begun, but I am drawn in by the masterful wordplay and desription. The characters are being built well and feel real. I will defintely follow and continue reading.

You have an interesting premise for what promises to be a promising and exciting plot.
The setup around Prince Felderon (gosh, that is a real mouthful!), is interesting, especially his interactions with the Sage (or magi). Honestly, the first couple of chapters alone eerily reminds me a little of the setup of Game of Thrones, just less bloody, with less gore.
You have an interesting character in Prince Felderon. Many times, when I read books that had a member of royalty as the main character, so often, they're the Crown Prince/Princess. It's interesting to read the take on a character that is sixth in line, and not the favoured prince furthermore. Though honestly, when I read the first two chapters, I got a bad feeling about where things are heading for Prince Felderon.
So character-wise: you have me intrigued within the first few chapters. Especially the character and personality of the prince.
But if I may, since this is a fantasy book: do go more into your descriptions so that the readers can 'see' what Prince Felderon is seeing and feeling. 'Show not tell'. That is one trap that a lot of writers tends to fall into, I find, even seasoned ones.
I noticed that you had a habit of 'telling', rather than showing, and letting the readers find out for themselves.
Now about style: I like the style. It's hard to read at some parts, but I think that is part of it's charm. You have the ability to draw your readers in, and I think it's very important for a writer.
I can't say too much about the story as of yet, as plot wise, it's still considered slow, but I would like to see where this story takes us.
