Pressure

Disabled by rheumatoid arthritis, Audrey Preston discovers the pain of her disease fuels extraordinary abilities. She is thrust into a world of super heroes whose disabilities are the foundation for amazing abilities. She teams up with the mysterious Afterimage and reluctant Blink, navigating a course between seductive power and crippling illness. In their struggle for survival, they wonder what will destroy them first, the criminals who hate them or the remarkable gifts that are slowly killing them.

Originally conceived as shorts for an anthology series, this is an ongoing story detailing the lives of superheroes and the disabilities that drive them.
