Long ago, in a world not dissimilar from our own, seven powerful mysterious weapons were forged. After centuries of dormancy, safely hidden from those who could abuse their power, one man's curiosity drove him to discover the resting place of one such weapon: an indestructible sword with a deep desire to be unleashed upon the world.

Even though he failed to free the blade, he inadvertently woke it. The weapon cursed him, dooming the oldest in his bloodline to hear the its call, enticing them to follow in his footsteps and seek it as he once did.

After the man died, the sword's ever increasing cries for freedom latched onto his only son.

This is his tragic tale.
