In a universe where rebirth is as unavoidable as death, to be ripped away from the circle of life and forced to live in limbo is a fate that no soul would wish ever to befall itself. Yet, that is the story of Raxyas. His is one of the many souls confined to indefinite imprisonment in Mortmundus, the world of the dead.

After seemingly fulfilling his final mission and earning the right to rejoin the circle of life, Raxyas is brought back to answer for its ultimate failure. As the people he once swore to protect are now the very same who shun and accuse him of treason for conspiring with those he should have destroyed, Raxyas must clear his name and tie up all loose ends if he wishes to achieve rebirth.
