Possibility AR; Rise of the Swordmaster

Alex liked swords. That's all there was to it. Still there wasn't much he could reallydowith that like. Buying or forging one himself was too much work, and he was lazy. He resigned himself to books, manga, and anime about the topic, that childhood dream of being the master of the sword faintly residing in the back of his mind when he had free time. His brother told him about a small game that he was keeping an eye on called "Possibility" They had released a pair of specialty glasses on the game, which boasted learning how to use a sword. Intrigued in the prospect of at least learning sword movements, that dream reignited.

Possibility is a mixed reality modern fiction take on swords and magic, taking what I like from Rebirth of the Thief who Roamed the World, Reincarnation of the Strongest Sword God, Apocalypse Online, and a recent fic on here, Rise of Babel. It's a realistic take on sword and magic, and follows the rise of a game into worldwide aclaim from one of its first players, instead of starting the story with the world already established. Not going to be a ton of action in the beginning, mostly system dynamics and training, lots of training. As someone who is obsessed with training arcs, this story will start off slow, and the system itself will grow over time becoming more advanced (but still simple, since I like simple systems). I'm choosing AR instead of VR for most of the story, since I like the aspect of training your body to affect a game in real life (present in both RotTWRtW and RofSSG)
