This is the best story I'm reading on here.
The MC is an adult which is different from a lot of stories about pokemon. There is action and as well as lot of fun. For those who are familiar with the show or manga or game there are some familiar character.

This take on the fiction is everything i wanted from a pokemon fan fic and more. I used to love the adventure manga up to the 1st part of diamond and pearl. Then it just seemed to go downhill from there. TwT. Pokemon Animus gives the feeling of how the adventure manga used to be but, add multipliers and a generous splash of mature situations.

No seriously. Work's environments are down so I started reading and now it's been like the entire day but it's finished and idk what to do next. Like chef kiss it's got humor, enough shines to almost make me want to go shiny hunting again, and he punted a wurmple. What I would give to have witnessed that in person.

It's a good read and a more adult take on Pokemon. What I really enjoy about the story is the world building and the little nuances that shade in the world. The author does take some liberties with things, so expect stuff like Delta Species. But they delve into how those type of things happen. The world is like an alternate anime world that is way more dangerous. The character work is slower at the start, but improves with each chapter. The main character has a bit of a wandering eye, but doesn't act like a creep i.e. no harem stuff.The style and grammar improve over the course of the story. This story isn't perfect, but is definitely worth a read.

Got recommended this from another story on RoyalRoad. But damn this is a good read and I'm thankful for it.
The story is your pokemon fantasy brought out into words, the world building is both fun and believable with hints and cameos from the animated series.
Grammar is good with a few misspelling you would be to busy reading to be concern about. Because that is just what this is.

It's interesting.
In the beginning it's a bit odd how quickly he adapts to his surroundings without any obvious shock or panic. One of the points I find most interesting in transmigration stories is how the character reacts to the strangeness of being in a new world. Here he mostly responds with, "huh, okay" which is alright but not very exciting but I suppose that's fine.
I find it becoming more interesting when he meets his travel buddies and discovers skills he instictively understood (perhaps hinting at his past which I hope will be better understood in the future). For now though, in general, our character is a handsome middle aged-ish man with a lucky streak (I'll say no more to prevent spoiling too much).
Pokémon is fun, and a bit of their species specific personalities have been touched upon which was cool.

Quite fun for us pokemon fans. Giving it a more mature feeling and more realistic on things like the manga and not the anime (ash pisses me off). Too bad the chapters are short but they are entertaining.

I've tried to read this multiple times because it seems like people like it but I just can't. It has a problem I feel a lot of only decent stories have where the writing tends to to go "this happens, then this happens, then this happens, then this happens" and it's grating to read. Characters decent and the story seems okay I just can't stand actually reading it.
