Just when one of my bids to escape from my ever-absent father and overbearing mother failed, I found myself Isekai'd.No big deal, really. Nowadays everyone gets Isekai'd, right?But, I tasted something addictive in the Pokemon World, something I craved for in our world too: Freedom.The excitement I feel when I think of mind-blowing battles I can participate in the Pokemon world helped me decide my future quite quickly, of course.Now, all I have to do, like any good Pokemon fan, is to be the very best.Why don't you join me?....................-The writing will be for 13+ audience.- The fanfic is mainly about battles and realistic exploration of the Pokeworld, so the Pokeworld is going to be very AU, without losing its original charm.

Another solid pokemon fic that's popped up within the last few months. While we are still early in the story, one thing I really like so far is the MC using unique pokemon that you don't often see. Another strength of this story is the battling and the use of strategy/tactics. Overall this has all of the components for success.

I like the world the author is trying to build and his reasons as to why Pokemon trainers are encouraged, considering the upkeep. The world is not only built from the eyes of MC as a new trainer can't know about everything, the extra information from other characters about the world makes it so much more interesting and has been done twice until now.
The author's take on the Pokemon world where intelligent species, some of which are more intelligent than humans, can shape a human society is awesome. In every fic I read, Pokemon who are supposedly intelligent don't have any kind of big influence or marks of their presence, unlike this fanfiction.
Very Rare POV shifts and they are executed perfectly.
The Pokemons are pretty rarely used in any other fics. The strategies in the battle are awesome.
I didn't notice any grammar mistakes, but English is not my language. So..
The MC has a unique thought process and the other characters in the fic are also pretty well defined, like his would-be rivals.
A very good take on the Pokemon world. Realistic but interesting.
So, give it a try if you like a realistic Pokemon world with awesome battles without big bad evil causing problems everywhere.

The story is really good and brings a ton of new concepts and ideas into the pokemon universe, that are interesting and new.
I can only recommend giving it a try, even just to see and to be inspired by it.

This is a pretty good SI Pokemon story so far. The author has made a setting that fits in line with the Pokemon universe that also isn't cringy. So already a good start compared to some other Pokemon fics I've read. At this point in the story, the main character's general vibe has been set. The story is now just getting into his journey.
-TLDR: worth a read, excited to see how it develops

I only made it about 7 chapters in, so things could improve later.
The grammar and flow of the story are both good. The author does a good job in both places.
Overall, this story is just more complicated than it needs to be. The tests, “royal” Pokemon, etc. are all more complicated than they need to be. Pokemon is already complex enough without adding all these new wrinkles to the existing world. Overall, just not my cup of tea.

It started of somewhat strong, while it was a bit cliche, it was still an interesting start. It started to really shine with it's world building. The way it was presented was a bit too close to an info dump for my liking though, but the content was quite nice... unfortunately, it started to show its cracks as soon as actual character development needed to happen. Character dialog always feels unnatural. I can't quite place my hand on why. It does have an AI tag I see now, so maybe due to that?
Either way, it wasn't great in that part. And the more we looked into the world building the more "mysterious world, ooh" was added after every tidbit of information we got. It gets very old very fast, the baiting with world mysteries that is...
Overall, it is a mixed bag. I liked it at first, but it also fell off hard. I wouldn't really recommend it though, not when there are so many much much MUCH better pokemon fics out there. Not really worth the time invested.

Thoughts:
For a pokemon fanfiction I felt this story was too "extra" so many additional elements that seemed to not really mesh with the rest of the world as well as the characters not really getting the depth they need to carry the story forward.

- The story starts with 5 stars.
- I remove 1 star if it is not complete.
- I remove 1 star if I dropped the story.
- I remove 1 star if it's hard to read (odd word choice, grammar, etc).
- I remove 1 star if it fails to do something that stands out. (Funny, Unique premise or perspective etc)
- I remove the 1 to 1/2 if I would not recommend it to read regardless of score.
