Description

Babies are found amidst the aftermath of natural disasters: tsunamis, avalanches, wild fires, destructive lightning storms. These 'Storm Born' grow up with powers based on the disasters that birthed them.

Jaded, broken, and burdened with alcoholism, Sammy -- ex Storm Guard -- just wants to be left alone until the day death comes calling his name.

But someone, or something, is hunting down and killing Storms. Even for Sammy, that's a sobering thought.

Some mysteries can't be solved with raw power. Can Sammy figure out what is happening to Storm Borns, and can he prevent the world from falling back into atomic war?

Superhero novel somewhat similar to starchild in that where and how you’re born dictates abilities. Grizzled veteran main character type. Very few grammar issues. Character so far has distinct personality and is decently well fleshed out and we learn more about him as time goes on.
All in all as of chapter 9 seems well done. will continue reading

HEY YOU! YEAH YOU! I see your reaading this review. Was it the the old timey plague mask? The Title? or did you get here by accident? Doesn't matter I'm afraid. Read 5 chapters and if its not for you, then it might not be for you, but as someone who's read both gold and trash online since before even The Iron Teeth graced this place we call Royal Road, WuxiaWorld had A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality, before Qidian even, I got started on Japtem and Rainbow Turtle and I still dont remember how. The concusions that year mighta knocked that knowledge outta my head, who knows. Point is, I'm an old lurker and I know when I smell potential and this bonafide train to slay boredom is reeking up the nostrils of it.
Grammar-your asking the wrong person but so far I've yet to be confused by what this writer means.
Story-too many times there's a story that tries to be dark, cringe kin dark, darker than black, you know the ilk. This. This you feel it might not be a happy story, I don't know whats gonna happen beyond what the author lets on, our good old MC/protagonist (however you like to call it) lets you know were not stuck with the overly optimistic or simplistic fellow right out the bat with that summarry if you read it, which I recomend you don't. Primarily to get in and let the story tell itself. I saw the Profanity tag and it was enough for me, since some people make terribly un appetizing summaries or put a little more info in them than I'd like. Kinda like movie trailers now a days, ya know the whole jokes and moments ruined by foreknowledge. This one here though I think was good, the sumarry that is. story so far is also good.
Release rate- I wait around for Delve and Wake of The Ravager if that means anything to you. If not, I haven't been angered yet by the time it takes for a Berserk manga volume to come out and I first got into that in the 5th grade, so pretty dang fast at the moment.
Style- Tasty.
Characters- It aint a gimmick as far as my eyes can see
