We follow our hero Dave, whose been down on his luck. I instantly felt for the guy when he was going about his life dealing with the corporate world and feeling like a hammster spinning a wheel. I've been there, done that, and I'm glad I got out and work in a field that I'm passionate about. So I instantly want Dave to get his isekai adventure going and have some fun, but when the opportunity arrives to go to a new adventure, he's pulled out of it and meets a girl. Unforuntately, things don't work out, Dave's on a downward spiral, and he finally gets the journey he was meant for. Unforuntately, it's more Mad Max that we're expecting, and Dave's forced to dig deep and become his own hero against the powerful forces that want to control and use him. We meet others along the way, but they face unfortunate fates which inspires Dave to get stronger as he should. The cool part is Dave's power over ghosts allows him to talk to them for advice and gain some nifty tips that helps him survive. He finally reaches a more general fantasy location and is automatically introduced how unique and weird his new world could be when he receives a drink from an interesting pair of people driving an interesting vehicle. Dave continues his joruney into a town after battling some local monsters, meets up with the blacksmith as all adventurers should, and meets a friend who might actually live. I love her design, and the image of her and descriptions are pretty nice. From here, Dave starts to branch out and become his own adventurer and get stronger.
Overall score is up there because it's a unique take. Style scool and grammar score is good. I'll dock a little from story since it does take some time to get to the good stuff. Patience is required. I'll dock a little from character since it takes a while to have side characters we can befriend and enjoy without worrying about their lives. Other than that, give it a try. You might like it, too.

Love love love that rapid writing of chapters and seeing the story evolve. Vitaly tones down the fancy verbage over the last few chapters (i am at 41) but it wcould use at least a bit more flare (I appreciated looking up the occasional word and actually learning something!). Descriptions of environment are great, character interaction and play is fun. Waiting to get a bit more of the world and additional characters explored. So far so great!

Came across this story by chance, decided to favorite it after 15 chapters read.   One the story just appeals to me the character are well written and the plot flows in a logical manner.  Creativity by the writer is visible through a tapestry of woven words.  Two,  language....  this story even if its not your favored reading style shows a wonderful use of language which I hope spreads to other writers.  I will continue to follow and hope others at least give this tale a chance.  Hmm, the only downside is the start of the story which is very grimdark and I realize such tales are not for everyone.

I'm really enjoying the world building and pacing of the story. The first ARC as of Chapter 25 seems to just be starting the exploration of the novel's magic system from the perspective of the MC. We have a general understanding of the stakes aligned against our protagonist with a clear understanding of the scale of the world.  The slice of life and pacing of challenges remind me of another favorite of mine;  Delve.  I could see this novel being the longest running of our author or going on hiatus like many of the other amazing works.  As always I hope for longevity and I look forward to more of the story.

I'll be honest despite the title it's probably hands down one of my favorite books on RR. It's such a vibrant world and a unique idea behind it is just chef's kiss. The characters are designed very intricately and executed even better. Story is, due to my lack of vocabulary, super mega amazing, exciting and feels very new and fresh compared to the overused tropes of litrpgs. I honestly got no complaints for it... If not for the pretentious word slapping the author does. I was incredibly happy and nostalgic to see such style of writing in the beginning as I had only read stories with simple vocabulary for quite a while but slowly yet surely it got harder to endure.
I have done descriptive writing but even then I didn't use so many descriptions as he did. At the end I'll say that Vitaly needs to tone it down a little with the words but I love this story anyway and will support it till the end.
Author only change if you feel and discover that the criticism is correct. Style of writing is unique to every author, like an art style of an artist. You mustn't change because everyone tells you to, you change your style if you feel like it needs to. Whatever your decision I'll support you man but I'd appreciate if you made a chapter addressing this common criticism and your own opinions on it

I really like this story definetly an upcoming gem on here, the only thing I would complain about is the very long and detailed descripions of certain scenes and events to the point that I lose track of what's happening and end up confused. But this might just be my brain being too small and smooth to understand your writing.

It's early days yet, but this story is shaping up to be an excellent contender in its field.
The 'standard fantasy town' vibes I'm getting from Shandria are interesting, although there are some differences - while flipping is common practice in this genre, pretending to be undercover to explain one's lack of proper ID is a new one.
Additionally, Dave's cheat is potentially very powerful whilst being useful throughout, but not feeling too broken.
There's not too much in the way of blue boxes - feels a bit more like Gamelit than a LitRPG, but it's early days and that's a nitpick.
Overall, an excellent start which I will be following throughout!

This is a well written story with few to no grammatical errors.  It's thought out and the MC has a plan and is figuring out how to get there.  My one main complaint is how pretentious and similar everyone sounds.  Every single person waxes poetic like they just found a thesaurus and are figuring out big fancy multisyllabic words for the smaller ones normally used.  I normally wouldn't complain as it is nice to see people use big words, but it's every single sentence.  It gets tiring to read.  If I took a conversation and read it aloud to someone with identifiers removed, there would be no way to figure out who spoke what.
    Grammar is impeccable.
The story in general is great.  Isekai with some fantastic landscapes and the author has put in art which is awesome.
The MC is a bit odd to me.  His rational doesn't always make sense.  He sees a person in trouble and then is ready to put his life up to help them at the drop of a hat.  He doesn't seem to be interested in exploring his ability outside of the beginning of the story.  And for being so verbose, he doesn't say a whole lot of meaning, IMO.  He definitely feels like the type of person that would take 5 minutes of your day to talk about nothing while using the "Word of the Day" as many times as possible.  It doesn't help that the MC and all the characters sound the same.
The style is what got me to drop the story.  It's... just so pretentious.  Beautifully described world without a doubt, but it's seriously like there's a thesaurus next to the author and it's being used.  A lot.  Normally, this wouldn't bother me and I'd applaud its' use.  However, to have it be used so much detracts from the story IMO.

The opening and setting of the world is good. Even the powers and general world building itself. Things get introduced without having to be followed up on leaving opening for later. The ability he gains, has potential for story depth. I didn't like the dialog and how the MC becomes a new person basically once he hits the town. He goes from sad and tons of death seen to saying that he has to rely on his Charisma to make the most of what he has.
Flipping the price of the crystal, and all his interactions with the smith, I couldn't keep reading. I don't think he was in a risky enough spot where he needed to lie about getting the flute either. The string of easily and possibly disprovable lies he made about one item to a known criminal is crazy. Being an undercover warden? etc.
Story is fine/good enough, but not for me. Nice change on having the stronger opening compared to most stories

The story starts with a cliche office worker and then the story begins in earnest after developing a bit of a backstory. The author crafts a hellish landscape for the isekai'd protagonist to begin and does a wonderful job of taking us through the abysmal state of things without belaboring intense gore. The story then turns into a slice of life where all too conveniently a handful of wise, knowing or caring characters and so forth begin exposition dumping and assisting because...reasons.
What started off wonderful as we were taken on a journey to be shown a new world turned into a telling of the world and then a telling of how things are...and then a telling of these characters becoming closer. I could not justify rating higher while 30 plus chapters in and we still know less of this magic enabling system than we do of the curves of a draconic being.
