Phoenix End

Alexander "Alex" Michaels was an ordinary freshman about to start his first year in high school. Ruby Thompson was a street rat with a shadowed backstory and a deep hatred of those who hold true power in the world. Jayden Danielson was a wall flower of a middle schooler attempting to navigate his way through another year without drawing attention to himself. Each lived a completely different life until a horrific accident during their town's superhero festival left each with the ability to manipulate an element. Recruited into a global defense agency, they are expected to become a team on the level of the five stars, but conflict soon arises and they find themselves hunted. Will the trio become the great heroes that they are expected to be, or will the enemy that hides beneath the shadows drag them to an early grave?

This is more of an experiment than a story. It is the first story which I have shared with anyone outside of a few close friends, and thus I am curious to the type of feedback I get (if anyone decides to read it). Heads up, I will not be updating this story frequently, I wanted to share this but I don't have the free time to write currently.
