Phantom Storm

Description
"Have you heard, the entire Bonanno crew was brutally murdered!" Exclaimed a youth in his early teens.
"What? you're lying, again!" Another similarly aged child responded with crisp denial in his tone. After all, the crew was infamous for their ruthlessness. An eery silence passed between them. Soon enough, the teens' curiosity trumped his ego, and he found himself inquiring in a meek voice. "So...Who did it?"
"I heard my father talking about it while he was drunk. Guess what he said?..." The child responded, he was a natural-born storyteller. Listening intently, the other teen urged him on.
"It was done by a single person. When the police arrived, the bodies were charred black, likely the work of an electro mage. Most had an arrow or two lodged in their body, and a few were even chopped into neat little slices by a sharp blade." He paused, inhaling sharply. "All the victims had shocked expressions on their faces. As if the enemy was invisible or something. That's why they call that person the Phantom Storm!" concluded the adolescent with an excited glint in his eyes.

*Disclaimer:*
- The protagonist starts weak and a little naive, but I guarantee he will become quite capable over time. There will be no sudden power gains. The protagonist will have to work hard for what he gets.
- This story is not about a loner, he'll have a few companions, and they will not be useless.
- Some romance will be explored but not take away from the story. The main character will not be dense.Absolutely no harem will happen, but there might be a few love interests, no more than 3.
- I will try my best to not follow cliches and stay as original as possible.
- This story is my first ever, whether online or in real life. Thus, I might have grammatical errors here and there. The story might have a few plot holes and other such minute mistakes, as well. But I guarantee to try my best. Please give me feedback so that I can deliver a better story and learn to write better.

- AbeJonesRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0The system in this story is well presented. The ability to mix ones racial bloodline is new and I can see it leading down some very interesting lines. My one concern is that there too many commas. Quite a few sentences have an implied break don't actually need one. Overall this story is interesting and dynamic
- AyukiRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5The story have some of the genres I'm looking for in a story, but it's not exactly fulfilling in a way. The story is relatively fast, albeit rushing in parts. Because the chapter’s appear short and occasionally a bit fast in area’s, it’s bland. The transitioning to the next chapter is a bit off in area’s making it a bit hard to see where it’s going. However, a few of the genres are shown in the book whether it’s subtle or really out there. Other than that, I adore the author’s writing style,I just wish they delve deeper into writing longer in every chapter, if they committed themselves to writing out the chapters longer, filling it up with activities, work, training and grinding or combining chapter’s together to lengthen it out, this would be a more fulfilling book that I would love to read. A few parts were a bit iffy with me, but not everyone is a pro author. I really hope that this author will grow and bring us a brilliant book!
Chapter one was what made me a bit unsettled since it didn't exactly go into depth or a little background as to how the main character was chosen as a player. How are they in that state, and a few things weren't explained well enough to where I can see what the main character is talking about, like when they were choosing where they were going to be at, the only reason why they went to Ophelia was because it was "safe and more welcoming", but what about the other cities? The character should've given more thought show what options they could go for. What if one city was a place of no crime and is relatively safe, however they have strict rules? Or a city that promises wealth and fame however, once you finish the contract, you're tossed? Describing a character's thinking process is very important to the story especially if you're foing first person stories. 3rd person is a little harder, but you don't have to describe every character's thinking process, but you have to describe their looks and surroundings, their weapons and clothing. So - DaniFondonRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5This type of story is right up my alley. It awakens the right level of engagement that is necesarry to get me hooked. I am curious as to how the story will unfold further. I also like how it feels like a fresh take on an existing genre. Keep it up. You have got a fan!
