Description
In 2025, after a brief border conflict between NATO and Russia, an unknown alien species lands in the Baltics, Poland and western Russia. What follows is a war on an unimaginable scale—one that draws in every nation on Earth and results in the deaths of hundreds of millions of humans and billions of extra-terrestrial beings.
This book compiles first-hand accounts from soldiers, civilians, officials, and those who lived through the conflict, offering a detailed look at an event that redefined the modern world. From tank crews locked in fierce battles across the Suwalki Gap, Red Cross volunteers on the frontlines, and North Korean Marines storming the beaches of Denmark. These are just a few of the countless tales from the war that was supposed to end all wars.
Author’s Note:This work is ongoing. Objective is two chapters a week until completion. Please excuse the messy formatting, it will be cleaned up eventually. Also lol, you’ll definitely want a map open while reading this to fully grasp a lot of the context.

- BigBadBoiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0If you enjoyed reading the World War Z novel then you're definitely gonna enjoy this.
The story follows an author and veteran interviewing other veterans in their experiences during the war.
The story captures the dark and gritty aspects of war, especially in a battle for survival against an alien species. The trauma, the methods of coping, the violence, and the nightmares are described in detail.
There are grammar mistakes here and there but it can be easily ignored due to the well written story provided.
This shit is good, man. - Ian JagerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Note: I've only read up to chapter 2, but this has blown past my expectations.
Let's get the boring stuff out of the way:
Grammar: 5/5, nothing to say here.
Style: Nothing bad, nothing particularly special.
...
Characters: There isn't a whole lot of character development due to the format this story takes as a collection of experiences. However, the little bits of dialogue and raw emotion draw out a few key details about each person.

Story: World War 3, interrupted by an alien invasion
Solid premise, executed well (but with room for improvement). You've got helicopters getting blown off the sky by meteorites, and giant lava-spewing beetles fighting main battle tanks and mechanized infantry.
You don't need plot twists or crazy tropes to make a good story, and this story proves it. It's the burning question we've all had: how would humanity fight back against an alien invasion?
Conclusion
I'm supposed to be studying for my midterms, and I had to peel myself off the 'next chapter' button on chapter 2. Take what you will from that.
Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words - Tankfan23Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This has been an absolutely griping story. I can't put it down. I like the realistic military response and the chaos of refugees fleeing a war zone. The author incorporates eastern Europe geography to great effect, though I don't come from Europe.
Style: I enjoyed the way this book was stylized, using an Interview format, similar to that of Max Brooks' World War Z. The jumping around of characters is also a nice reprieve of following a singular character.
Characters: With the way this story is formatted, we don't stick with a character for long, so character development isn't really seen, though the emotional dialogue was gripping.
Story: As the description says, world War three interrupted by an alien invasion.
I loved the world building Integrated into the interviews. The story is slowly revealed through experiences and not to much is revealed before hand. Starting from first contact, the story is told chronological order.
The alien and human technology aren't so different, though the invaders use more of an overwhelming force than organized warfare.
Grammer: The grammer was overall solid, there were some mistakes here and there that were caught by other readers.
Overall:
wonderful story with gripping story telling. Well executed idea with just the right amount of sci-fi and modern military vehicles. - The Emperor willRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I read It in two days
