Karilyn was just a normal librarian when she was killed in a hit-and-run. The woman wakes up to find herself in the body of a throwaway character in the visual novel she beat hours before her death. A unamed slave girl who was sacrificed to a monster by the male lead, Karilyn is destined to die as cannon fodder! The monster who is the Ogre King, a beastly man who leads an army of terrifying demons, would murder her. But under that hard exterior is a touch-starved baby who Karilyn knows she can sway and convince to keep her around. Determined to stay alive, she decides to take her chance with her would-be killer and get him on her side.

WARNINGS:This novel will heavily feature slavery. The MC is a slave throughout most of the story and is treated like an object. Even by the love interest sometimes. If you don't like that type of stuff, skip this novel.

The relationship in this novel is meant to be very one sided in the beginning and toxic. It does get better but if you find yourself disliking it strong enough it affects the story, comment please.
