Pawn's Reckoning

The conqueror king of the Qzwar Empire had set his eyes on the neighboring nation of Myenamo for quite a long time. Now growing advanced in his years, he sought to take the land once and for all to pass down to his son, Prince Altan. The kingdom of Myenamo belonged to a peaceful empire, Hiza. To ease political tensions, the emperor of Hiza sent over the sole heir of Myenamo, Princess Ivy of Dales, as a peace offering. Facing stirring unrest within one of his regions of rule, Qzwar’s king decided to accept the arrangement and set forth to prepare for the wedding ceremony between Prince Altan and Princess Ivy. Though, little did the king and people of Qzwar know, the princess who had set foot on their empire’s soil was but a lady-in-waiting in disguise, and the true Myenamo descendent was none other than the unassuming maidservant accompanying her.
