I have read up to chapter 8, so far the story was enjoyable and fun read, I especially liked that it has long chapters. It’s a typical story about a fantasy world where there are adventures and gain magical  and dungeons. If you like intense action and fun characters then this is for you.
all people are pretty fun and relatable.

One of the best LitRPG I've read. It masquerades as a different genre until a dramatic shift some 20 or so chapters in. As of right now, it's got a fairly complex web of characters. Most are fleshed out to a respectable degree, and evoke some good emotion on part of the reader. Loose ideas and hints cover the book from the start about new story lines and world lore. Grammar is good, but nothing particularly gripping.
The disappearance of his mother, the ever present ghost child, and the black ooze that definitely is connected to elemental darkness/death is probably connected. Maybe.
As of the current character arc, I don't particularly like the character decision to use pirates with unprecedented agency as his primary companions. Especially as their tendencies to rape, murder, and plunder being only suppressed by his immediate presence. This could be leading to a loss of naivete on the part of the MC when something despicable happens at the agency of his golems. If so, tough chapters are up ahead. That would have to be the only complaint as of right now.
My favorite character connection was Leo. I hope eventually it can circle back to him at some point, as I think his connection to the underwater people would eventually lead to tying up the journal of the former Titan of Water that he has.

I have read up to chapter 6 and I have to say I am really enjoying what the author has published so far. It’s a story about a fantasy world where there are adventures who run around and gain magical armor and experience exploring dungeons. If you like intense action and fun characters then I can see you enjoying it greatly.
Characters: We follow a young woodsman named Knox who has an alcoholic father who does not approve of his sons dream to be an adventure. I don’t want to spoil anything thing, but his main connection to adventuring is his deceased mother who was also an adventurer. If you have ever had a disapproving or abusive parent or wanted to leave your town then feeling is well described here I think.
Setting: It appears to be a standard fantasy world, but there are a few things which distinguish it from other fantasy stories of its kind. I have not gotten far enough into it yet to really see the whole place but the author does a good job dripping in the lore which had me wondering more about this place.
Character: all are pretty fun and relatable. The author doesn’t force their personality’s on the reader with being too over the top, but the people Knox met seemed fairly well put together and their characters subtle enough yet not so distant I had a hard time identifying them.
Grammar: no complaints here. I think it was like chapter 4 before I found something, so the author has taken some pain staking time to carefully check for typos and such.
I really like this story, and I think there is some deep lord within it. I will definitely being coming back to this one to see what happens with Knox. Also, the action scenes were the highlights of what I have read so far, and again I am curious about learning more about the lore.

It's good, but I've gotten to chapter 14 and there's no RPG in sight. this is at best a GameLit as there's not a status panel, levels, or stats yet.
it's of good quality, but you can't call a GameLit a LitRPG. that's false advertising. that's like calling a right jab a right straight, they're both punches, but they're very different.
edit: LitRPG start ~30 chapters in.

This story suffers from poor planning and a lack of storyboarding. It seems like the author currently isn’t truly writing arcs out that are cohesive to the characters as they were previously characterized.
There is a large shift in the story about 20 chapters in, and then most of the main characters agency vanishes. Further, the MC loses the calculating and thoughtfulness that was a hallmark of his previous actions. It is a very odd and abrupt shift that is not explored enough to make meaningful.

Firstly - GRAMMAR & STYLE - Both fine.
The chapters are also a pretty long which is always nice.
Story, not much has happened within the 7 chapters I've read (long as they are) or maybe stuff has happened? I wouldn't know, I've found myself skimming through paragraphs as characters stand around or rehearse their wooden lines. The pacing is so painfully slow the last couple I've practically been forcing myself to read.
As for characters? That's probably where this story suffers most. They feel wooden and fake.
Also I am slightly confused about what the author was going for here since at first I thought it would be a classic self-interest wish fulfillment - you've got the perfect, amazing, badass, sexy, super strong woman who is literally chasing after the MC to the point where she drags him to her house begging him to have sex with her (of course he refuses) which is exactly the kind of brain rot I've come to expect from power fantasy wish fulfillment... But then the author seemingly forgot the most import part which would be the exciting fast pace and OP MC battling above his league.
If this were truly a power fantasy MC would be beating up bullies in a magical high school right now whilst woman swoon. Instead we are wondering around a village which I do not know the name of and talking with characters who I don't care about (whilst woman swoon of course, this man has got at least 2 woman after him and we havnt left the starting village yet lol)
Author seems to have gone for the worst of both worlds?
Wish fulfillment power fantasy is fine when the author is self aware and leans into it, admittedly some of them are my guilty pleasure.
But there's nothing worse than a half way one trying to pretend it's not. Just ends up falling flat.
Anyway 2.5 stars because I think the characters are shallow and its not very exciting. But that's just my opinion, it's certainly not unreadable and I'm not surprised that many do enjoy it.
So all in all, if you like woman magically fall
