- Wickedly_DesignedRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0What we have here is what I like to call a solid story: it has all its bases covered, even has a couple of nice ideas to avoid some of the cliches that setups like these tend to suffer from, like the ever present '2d evil god', substituting somewhat more logical alternatives.
As such there are no real major flaws in the story (as of chapter 8, at least), but neither are there any real distiguishing points either, that would propel it from 'solid' to 'brilliant'.
There is one thing that I'd like to remark on: chapters 7 and 8 - the last two, as of the writing of this review - show a drop in grammar quality, of the sort that comes from hurry and carelessness, that could be avoided by the use of a word processor or a grammar tool like Grammarly.
So, to any prospective readers: do give this a story a try, it will keep you entertained and engaged - but do not really expect more than momentary entertainment from it, as the story does not really keep you once you put it down.
