Description

Following the death of his popular online persona, seventeen-year-old Suzuki Mato decides it's time to retire from professional VR gaming. However, his plans are abruptly cut short when he's kidnapped from his high school and forced to be a guinea pig for Genaco Gaming, the world's largest esports and entertainment company. Armed with nothing but his wit and a new online persona, he's thrown headfirst into the virtual reality of "Live No Evil," a VRMMORPG littered with overpowered bosses, secretive NPCs, and backstabbing gods. His mission? Find a way to conquer this new world and get back at the company that took over his life, all while avoiding 'Parallel' -- a condition that would make it impossible to separate his real and virtual personalities. Because in a world obsessed with VR gaming, Parallel means death, and Suzuki just doesn't have time for that...

Well damn, I did not expect to find this, but I'm really glad I did.
Chapters lengths are good, grammar is fantasic and it's got its hooks in me.
Too much tbh, I keep finding myself reading this at like 1 in the morning and going to work tired, but oh biy is it worth it.
I know I haven't gotten far, but keep up the great work!! Definitely in my top 5 current favourite stories!
Thanks for your dedication Renoe_K! I look forward to seeing where it goes.

This is a Great Story that im Suprised to see. Originally read this on wattpad back in 2016 and it was a fantastic intro to game lit in my opinion. 100 percent reccomend a read. There are multiple books and a great adventure, this and "Siva The Destroyer" hold a lot of nostalgia. Both really great stories.

If you find it still entertaining after 5 chapters then bro you are in for an amazing ride.
The MC might feel a bit edgy at first but you would understand if as you keep on reading.
The characters may be seen OP but it's because...
Most of them are experienced and one of the best players in the world but the fights are still fun because the enemies they face is far more powerful and they have to use their brain, logic and strength to win.
Overall it's great and one of my best read on this genre.
Every character you see is relevant and have atleast appear two times most through the story and is relevant to the plot.
The power ups they recieve is partially for their hardwork and other is luck.So you will not find it unfair and plot magic on about that.
This is available on Wattpad with over million reads. You can read the volumes after this there under the authors profile on wattpad. You can also check his other works and read it with us there🫶

We kick off with the mysterious disappearance of Blaze's co-worker. A futuristic world with nanobots, theories, video games, and searing hot pain with a cool-ass tattoo.
You will thoroughly enjoy this story, just try it out! Although I have read very little I enjoyed the development so far.
Style - A very descriptive story if I say so myself, going into needed detail on subjects I need to visualize this new world. I am very exposed to the idea of the story and right with the timeline, which is easy to follow. Very happy about that indeed! Loving the general humanization as most stories treat characters like mobs, but not this one!
Grammar - Impeccable, I mean I have found not one hiccup nor burp reading as far as I have. Granted I haven't read much, nor am I an expert.
Story - Very intriguing, the story pulls you in asking more and more questions. Jokes here and there, hints and foreshadowing, and burning hands! What can you say I'm a sucker for a good mystery!
Character - I assume this category is for the characters in the story itself. Great description, awesome conveying of the feeling and thinking for each and unique person. Very enthralling for each person's story!
Overall - Read the damned story already ya hooligan! What else do I have to say to convince ya? Although if Blazen_Fury is reading this, cheers mate!

One of the better books I have read. Has a great story with exciting characters and an interesting world situation. The main character isn't edgy and is a loner type, with good reasons for being a loner. Side characters don't feel too fleshed out, but can still easily imagine and the impacts they have on the world can still be felt. World building both in game and real life is great and is really interesting!
    100% would recommend!

And my first ever review on this site goes to this fiction!
First thing first, this book is the first fiction aside from JP translated and KR translated I've ever read. I remembered waiting for the release every week and every chapters always been a blast.
I won't do the advanced review, but from what I remembered, the comedy is good. The dynamic between character is also fun to read. The power balance is, EVERYBODY IS OP! Let's leave it at that.
Maybe my review is biased, because the first time is always special. I still followed the fiction until now!
    Give it a try! PLEASE!

...If you are the type that can read past those, it might be a good read for you.
Currently I am at chapter 39 and I will continue to give it a go, but at times I did feel like dropping the story.
I'll keep the spoilers minimal, but please be aware that there are some spoilers ahead.
    The issues:
    - There is a dark subplot as to the company behind the game as well as the 'kidnapping' of the MC that make little sense. The author shows us some of it, but there is no tension, no stakes and the MC clearly doesn't care about it either. The story would probably be better without it.
    - The co-protagonist is supposedly an insane murderer, but feels like a pretty average teenager.
    - All girls feel like cardboard copies of each other, all girl/boy intimacies are shallow and similarly written.
It is akin to japanese fanservice, but feels fake/wrongly done? I mean, I have read japanese fanfiction parodies that had me in stitches, but in this story it feels cheap. Maybe it is done too much or it is because the relationships lack the require depth and only fanservice isn't enough to hold it up. There is no tension at all, there is no exploration and there are no stakes in the relationships.
    - A particular secret (a dangerous one) that a side character has was told all too easily to the MC. (Ie. there are signs that the MC is easily trusted, even though he is supposedly a person that is hard to trust.
-There is a lot of explanation as to why MC acts the way he does around NPC's in order to maximize profit, by basically showboating and acting the hero. (nothing wrong with that), but other times he treats NPC's as real people. If this was written as an effect of the parralel sickness, this would be a large boon to the story. (ie. sometimes he is 'gaming the system' while at other times 'the system is gaming him') But so far it doesn't feel like it. There is no mention of the MC actually having signs parralel. Story would be so much better if he had though.

I am kind of disappointed with this story. We were supposed to find a super smart MC and a serious story. However, we end up with a shitty japanese wish-fullfilment story. Every character exist only to show how AMAZING the MC is, while he only does stupid stuff.
I gave 2 story because i like the original idea, but the delivery was awful.
