Benjamin was just twenty-one years old and straight out of the police academy. Assigned to the Carlington area as a community officer alongside his childhood friend Daniel, they’re on their first day of work when they become embroiled in an armed police pursuit.

But when the police pursuit came to a successful finish rather than the usual joy of catching a criminal there was fear. Because they may have just confirmed the existence of other sentient beings. And perhaps changed the world irrevocably in ways they can’t even conceive!
