Daphne Woods is having a terrible day. Her boss yelled at her, she had to stay late to get her work done, and her boyfriend broke up with her. The cherry on top is getting hit by a car while walking home. As she lay dying in the softly falling snow, she wishes that she had been able to find happiness in her life. As her eyes begin to close, she sees a woman's evil smile.When her eyes open again, it's September 26th, three months before the day she died. This is not the usual rr story. There is only one supernatural feature of the story, at least so far, and that is our heroine going back in time to fix her life.
Other than this, this looks like a normal contemporary setting, though it does feel a bit strange and artificial that the company where the heroine works at is never mentioned either by name or by sector.
There is k-dramedy style type of relationship and life-work balance issues that our heroine has to face. Some chapters are light, but overall there is a dark undertone and mystery that underpins the story, including flashbacks to the past. It is not a conspiracy if it is for real.
