[Writathon completion!]

"Pallesia" follows the story of Lee, a young man who died of cancer at 23. However, instead of passing into the "nothing" he thought was afterlife, Lee finds himself in a fantasy world filled with magic and mythical creatures.

As he navigates this new world, Lee discovers that he can create healing magic and decides to use his newfound powers to help those around him. Aiming to teach the world about his knowledge of healing, as well as the spells he has created, he will meet with a variety of fantasy races, and face many challenges. Monsters do not care about his noble goal, and there may be those who seek to use Lee's healing powers for their own.

Lee's adventures will take him to many new places, from bustling cities to treacherous wildernesses, as he faces the many challenges along the way.

Overall, "Pallesia" is a LITRPG novel that combines elements of fantasy, adventure, and self-discovery.

Very good first book! I really enjoyed the focus on healing and on spell creation. The problems that the MC had with adjusting to a new world where fighting monsters to level up was more realistic than many PFs (maybe a little too realistic!). I am posting this review after finishing the first book and am greatly looking forward to the second

Really love this series, the early chapters were able to skip a lot of the usual Isekai esposition while worldbuilding and establishing great characters. I like how the main character although heroic and a positive protagonist isn't obtuse and has realistic character flaws and acts regretfully out of anger but then takes ownership and apologizes. I binged 157 chapters in 3 days and am eager to read more. One of my favorite series on RoyalRoad.

It is nice to follow along as a good man tries to do good in an unfamiliar magical world. Our hero has chosen the path of healing, greatly inspired by his previous life trauma. I don't think we'll ever see power fantasy levels of killing out of our hero, but I could be proven wrong in time. Instead, I suspect that we'll see more down to earth conflicts as our hero tries to heal people, make some money, and keep his freedom.
One critique I have that comes from my background in politics/political systems is that the Dark Elf backstory is a bit of fail. Once we get it, it comes off as a juvenile understanding of evil on a societal level. In other words, if you could go back and time in kill baby Hitler, you wouldn't prevent WW2. A good 30% or so of the society were Nazis and there would have been plenty of replacement leaders. Would WW2 have played out differently without Hitler? Sure, but the evil at the heart of German society at that time would have remained. The point is, that evil in a society is not as simple as killing cancer cells. You have to change the conditions within the society that lead to such a large percentage of the population falling for fascist bullshit.

I fist started reading this story because I like transmigration stories and healing magic and this combined them so I decided to give it a try.
I did consider stopping when he was having his issues with the battle but decided to keep reading.
I liked his time with the elves but I’ve really started enjoying it since he reached the human kingdom.
I am definitely addicted to this story now. Looking forward to each new chapter!

Great story! It’s a fair split between slice of life, action, and politics all done quite well up to where I’ve read.
The grammar and overall writing is great and I really enjoy the characters in this story.
If I really had to nitpick over anything i would have to say the release schedule is a bit slow and I almost want to stop reading for 6 months so I have an afternoon of reading I can do all at once but I like the story too much to not read for that long.

The story has a good progression. There is a pretty steep power curve for the MC that is logical in the world and fits the story. It is well edited and flows smoothly. There are a few spots where the MC seems a little out of character but that is probably just me and does not detract from the story. The system is interesting and the author has planted seeds for me to wonder about without making them too obvious. I really hope this continues!

I was loving the book up till chapter 20, it took an odd turn there that has put me off and has made me drop the book but it is definitly worth trying out. If you are a fan of LITRPG, Isekai, and high fantasy magic give it a go! 4.5 stars for a great premise.
Edit: Forgot to unfollow the book and I am glad I did, the author is thinking of retconning the odd turn mentioned above, hopefully it will stay that way! For now, 5 stars.
Edit: Aaaaand its slow again... hrm

The story keeps you on the edge of your seat. I love how skillfully written the main character is. He feels like a real person. Watching him grow and mature is much fun! I couldn't put it down! My only complaint and it was maybe addressed was he felt far to OP. But it was maybe fixed. We will know once this wonderful author ends the hiatus.

I enjoyed this book and it has so much potential, This is mostly for the author to see. Your book is great and even with the simple magic system the potential is great but most people that read litrpg do it to just enjoy a story and have a nice imagination when reading. The only problem I see with your story is that it got too dark like you delved too much into the dark reality of isekai, like the discrimination, racism, self harm and naive mc just took the joy out of reading. I read up to chapter 110 but It’s not just for me. This is a nice book anyway and you should a realism tag to your book description.

I've noticed that you have a little bit of difficulty on keeping a consistent pace in the story, that's normal, some parts felt rushed, others slow, that's why I only gave you a 4.5, I honestly would have liked to be able to give a 4.9, but know that your story is a very nice one that I have enjoyed reading so far!
