Page of Memoirs

It is cold, I lay on a table of unknown origin. I have to meet the king. I am carried to a room. Someone mentioned magic. This reality feels familiar, but still distinctly different. Something blows up. I wake up in a library? Some doomsday someday? I don’t know what any of this adds up to, but I know one thing. Whatever it is, I’m not going to enjoy it.
