Oh my gosh, love, love, love, Hurry up and give me more, PLEASE!!!!
Why i love it, the simplicity of the language makes it easy to read. Actually, i wasn't reading, i jumped in the story, i became Angeline.
Same thing at the bar, i was drinking the whisky.
That book is going on my reading list right now.

I only read chapter 1 and 2 (which are currently released) so my review is limited.
Overall: This look like a light detective horror (with disturbing depiction), but a good amount of humour with the two main character, S and Addy. The city seem like a modern city, but in the poorer district of it with large appartment building and gloomy alley.
I'm still unsure if this will be episodic or one main long story arc, but addy seem to be some sort of religious inquisition in the kind of van hellsing for vampire, but in her case more like the handymen in Gansta or Dorohedoro.
Style: The style seem standard at first, but the magic system is similar to dnd which imply a lot of hard limitation such as daily usage of magic and so on. I personally like it, but there is no logical reasoning in dnd like magic system as to why you can't use a spell 4 time a day instead of 3 like you would understand in Eragon where casting a spell use stamina. But I like that it allow hard limitation which the main character will need to overcome in the later chapters. As someone who has been a DM for 12+ years, I think this can be played with a lot for many interesting events.
Story: I think this is heading toward episodic. which is not my cup of tea, but this might change since I'm only at chapter 2. I love slow grind with large story arc. This seem like a slice of life in the life of a monster hunter. I still don't know what is the life goal of the main character, but this score might change in the future.
Grammar: Some mistakes here and there, nothing dramatic. I think half of them were typo mistakes such as of instead of off or later on : into at. I think this story would benifit from having a second eye read through because sometime as we write and read our chapters, we become blind to typo mistake.
Character score: I think Addy and S are funny character with funny banter, but we know basically nothing about them. Where they are from, where they want to go, how they met. What are their fear
