Description
Christopher Carthage is your prototypical video gaming shut-in. He has an "annoying" mother who enjoys being the center of attention, a prodigious little brother who is better than him at almost everything (minus gaming) and a psychotic former stepfather who believes that he and his brother are aliens. Oh, and recently Christopher made a new PAL. But is his PAL really a pal, or is she something far more sinister?
Immerse yourself in this unique real-world LitRPG/GameLit adventure and help me to improve my writing along the way. :)

- MrBadWithNamesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0As of chapter 8, I can honestly say I enjoyed reading this story!
Personally I don't really like science fiction, I'm a very traditional fantasy guy, but this story caught my attention,
The characters are likeable but not 2 dimensional, the mc isn't suffering from protagonist syndrome.
I especially like PAL and its relationship with the MC.
It's a bit too early plot-wise to have a ton of super alien settings so I don't mind the generic setting,
The magic/ability system is simple and understandable, it does its job and doesn't distract from the plot - it serves to forwards the plot and isn't there as just eye-candy or a one-man army.
Overall great story so far, will definitely be back to read on :) - tarakisRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Not to bad of a read. Decent plot, Character, style and grammar. Minor spelling issues but Author acknowledges and corrects. Will do a better review as the story progresses.
