Description
[19:27] Oxymoronic:Ever heard of escape room games?
[19:30] Oxymoronic:You know, those places where you pay a hundred bucks to get locked in a room with impossible puzzles. Impossible for you, that is. Your smartass friend inevitably figures them out in seconds while you're sitting there dumbfounded, wondering where your money went.
[19:31] Oxymoronic:Or maybe you are that smartass friend.
[19:33] Oxymoronic:Well, I played an escape room game that even all the smartasses in the world couldn't have figured out.
[19:35] Oxymoronic:I could have written a novel about what we have come to call the Babel Maze. But frankly, I'm not much of a writer. I'd much rather prefer to let the forum archives speak on their own.
[19:36] Oxymoronic:Might take a few months to upload all this. Lots of clutter, lots of spam. Cleaning all this is going to be a nightmare.
[19:38] Oxymoronic:That's just what internet janitors like me do.

- scythe3000Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Unlike the normal generic not-quite boring novels that litter this site and others, this story is interesting! I know, they all are. According to the people that like them, at least. This reminds me of SCP foundation, but it's more expansive and the "SCP" in question is explored by different characters with distinct personalities. Written with a wonderful style that I haven't seen used successfully before in a longer story, and with a tiny touch of comedy to go along with it. There are no grammar or spelling mistakes that I could see. Recommended if you're looking for something new to read, though there aren't many chapters out yet.
- zarperRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love how this story tries to gather the nostalgia of reading a horror story as a child of the internet. Not the ones that are so horrific that you laugh in disbelief, but the building fear of something that has rules but that you dont know, and the consequences of which are unknown, but probably not good.
Pretty sure that if I saw the cognitohazard the story revolves aroud Id freak the fuck out
I dont want to talk too much about the cast, since its early and they havent had time to develop too much, but already we how each treats the paranormal phenomena: some with terror for what it represents, that all you know is false. Others with scientific curiosity that seems almost childish for what they are playing with. All of them believable.
Its been a while I got nervous jitters reading a story, and I love the forum aesthetic, makes you feel like an internet archeologist, diving to find the truth about a story.
Why not give it a try and see if you like it too?
