Overseen

This is the first bit of a sci-fi novel I am writing, called Overseen. Overseen is set in an earth ruled by an AAI (Advanced Artifically Intelligent) bot known as Eon, who cares nothing for humans aside from ruling them with total control. Those who submit to him are then put through an excruciating process which wipes their memory, replaces many limbs and muscles with cybernetics, includes a chip to control  the mind, and includes a self destruct sequence which will cause them to die nearly instantly if their chip is ever removed. Those who fight back against Eon die, or are taken prisoner, and yet again made Overseen. Yet, against all odds, Trevor, a teenage former Overseen, finds himself brainwashed in a scrapyard not far from a battlefield full of smoldering corpses and destroyed bots. He records his tale in his log which resides in his mind virtually, allowing him to write without any sort of computer or writing tool, and soon finds himself on an epic adventure, meeting friends, (and enemies-- mainly enemies) escaping from and destroying bots, and making his way to the faction known as the Accusers, a force bent on saving humanity.
