Over the Golden Sea

Description
Lady Mahala Pesh has been infected with the Wyrm Plague, but she didn’t turn into a mindless forktongued monster like the others - she turned into a dragon. It is a good time as any to run away from her socialite old life, but she can’t get rid of the monster inside her that easily.
Fun things:magic, at least one eldritch dragon, runaway princess, prohibition, anger is healthy, berserk button, gangsterland, paint the town red, slowburn romance (dilf monster bodyguard)
UPDATE:I would like to thank everyone who has shown interest in Golden Sea. It means a lot to me that people spent the time to read my self-indulgent angry dragon fantasy. I'm so sorry I never uploaded the rest of the chapters, I wasn't in a place to complete the rest of the artwork for the novel. This story has been shelved for now as I am not satisfied with its quality, both writing and art. I would like to revisit this one day, but until then, I'd like to start again with a more manageable scope. Thank you again.

- Aleister AdairRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This looks solid. Professional cover art, images, good grammar. It doesn't feel clunky, and the witting flows smoothly. This looks like a series with potential. Best of all, it's not another litrpg.
What I hate most in reading stuff on RR is that people get the grammar wrong or mess it up. But here, it looks well done, even for a first chapter.
I will be watching with great interest. - SnakeyesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0When you start the story, you will be confused.
The first few chapters are told from an almost delirious POV. So I really recommend reading it through to at least the fifth chapter to get a better idea of the context.
Once you get past that point, the story really start to shine. The world and its people are pretty unique and it has a solid and nuanced background.
The author placed pieces of very beautiful body-horror drawings that really help give the story its own flair.
The MC is lovable, if a bit naïve but a good dose of childhood trauma and a slightly(?) manipulative upbringing does that I suppose.
All my thanks for the story to you author; Good job and keep it up !
