After a car crash, Jim Roark has been placed on life-support assisted by a game interface.  In theory, to help him recover from the resulting coma.  He soon learns that his introduction to Ouroboros Online was no accident.  He doesn't have the luxury of respawning like most players, because the game owners have an agenda of their own.  With the help of the mysterious Oracle, Jim will have to beat the odds, because his enemies won't play by the rules.  Unfortunately for them, Jim isn't the average player...
