Our Robot Overlords

In the not so far future, life has become quite lavish for the average human. With the invention of advanced AI and new forms of computation, a new generation of robotics engineering was accomplished. The now omnipresent robots have replaced humans in nearly every field, from hospitals to, well, the fields.Life is safe and secure, and every human enjoys a golden age like never before, yet there is always a price to pay. When every move you make is watched, recorded and judged by an omnipresent entity, ensuring you conform to the standard, what happens to your freedom? What happens to those who dissent to this state of affairs?This is the story of one such dissenter. As Benjamin Franklin sorta put it, “A man who trades his freedom for safety, will lose both, and deserve neither.”
