For the New World shows no mercy to the weak.

*Disclaimer*: Ormyr is loosely based on the Parahumans series by Wildbow. Though reading it is not at all necessary to enjoy or understand Ormyr, I do highly recommend it all the same. I do not claim any of the characters from the Parahumans series as my own.

I can't comprehend why this isn't on the rising star list. This is professional level writing. The story, world building, characters, and dialogue are all great. The first person writing is excellent. Normally I have an aversion to first person as it is so often poorly executed, but in this case it's perfection. Plus the author switches to third person when not in the main's perspective, avoiding all the confusion that results from multiple first person perspectives. I want to hug you for for this choice. This is way up there on my personal ongoing story top list.

Starts off somewhat like a typical story on royalroad but the current chapters are insanely well written, well paced, with enough action to keep you glued to whatever you read on. I believe is genuinely one of the greatest stories I’ve had the pleasure to read on this site and I look forward to every time I see a new chapter pop up in my following. Grammar, especially later, is immaculate  and the style of writing excites me in a way that not many books on this site can. Absolute must read

Incredibly amazing regarding the of the stories told and the multiple characters The Lord, you’ve made each of the characters and their story at how it feels like they will progress the struggles they go through all amazing. You should make this an actual book like put it on Amazon Kindle.

I'll be shocked if it isn't Trending soon. Rename a few characters, tweak the lore a little and you have a novel rivalling the Greats on Royalroad. For now, it is technically a Fanfiction.
    On to the Grammar:
The grammar, as far as I can tell is amazing. No mistakes so far. I can’t judge someone with grammar better than mine anyway!
    Characters:
The characters are all unique and wonderfully human. No one dimensional crap and it is consistent throughout, which is always a plus. Not many cliches and some that i noticed turned out to be classic, so far so good.
    Story:
The plot expands as the story grows, the author not falling into the same traps so many others have seen with wish fulfilment. I've read too many Worm fics so it's a welcome surprise for a veteran like me.
The lore is deep and interesting, with twists and turns throughout.
    And excerpts are always welcome.
I highly recommend this story to everybody. Even if you don't think you'll like it from what you hear. Not only does this story sidesteps every single pitfall that comes its way, it absolutely smashes them.
    Note:
While this may seem biased to have a 5 star rating so soon, what can I say...I'm biased after a great read.

One of the few fan works that exceed the original in every way. The pacing is immaculate, the purple prose epic, the world-building is intriguing, and most importantly, just makes complete sense. This story is faithful to Worm's original DNA, but also evolves on it so well that if you told me it was the official sequel instead of Ward, I would totally believe it.
I see quite a few people express the sentiment that this is basically an original work with just a veneer of Worm for marketing purposes. This cannot be further from the truth. The Worm elements are absolutely integral to the world, and every single established character is perfectly represented.
The plot is insanely gripping, multilayered, and consistent. It's an AU of Worm with just one divergence point that cascades into the story we see, and the main overarching plot is completely insane,
that of a thousand-year battle between multiple pre-cognitives, between two Paths to Victories and the Queen Administrator. The final stages of a billion year scheme by a primordial god in it's eternal war against the heat death of the universe.
Yes, it's a litrpg. Yes, the protagonist is overpowered. But it's practically the only story i've ever read that actually does that right. The protagonist is faced with near insurmountable challenges at every turn, and that trend is likely to continue given that his destiny is to literally kill God. He earns his power, and the situations he's put in makes it necessary for him to have such power to even stand a chance.
10/10, the only regret I have is that I found out about this story before it's finished.

I'm here for the action and adventure. The world building is phenomenal as well, can't help but think about reading worm after this, even though this is more of an alternate universe I think? Not entirely sure about that one.
One more note on the action:
I don't think I've read anything else on this site that has given me chills during major action sequences.

I went in this story with rather high expectations, I must say that I was not disappointed!
It's been a while since I've read a story quite so good. The characters are the most well written I've seen in a while, and feel very real and human, something that I find a majority of authors have problems with. There are small references hidden in the story, if you can find them and they add a layer of comedy that I find very appreciable and that I am not at all used to. As far as I can tell, the grammar is spotless, and the poetry is actually nice.
Even though at first there were a few jarring pov changes, at the story continued the author learned to integrate them perfectly with the protagonist and the main story.
I have not read the original, so I do not know how it compares, but if it is anything like this fan fiction, I believe I will greatly enjoy.
I do not give 5 star reviews often, but I do believe this one deserves it. 10/10

The character tropes used are done and the underlying system is not special but the world building has been excellent. I highly recommend this just for the world building.
The writing is quite good although some growth phases feel a bit rushed.
I'm curious to see how the world and our protagonist evolve over the course of the story.
I am hoping for some variation on the underlying characters and maybe a departure from some of the regular tropes but that's a personal wish and I'd be happy to read this story as the author intends to take it. As long as the world building continues!

The story has one of the best start I have ever read .  It is a grimdark tale lightly based on parahumans with a very interesting incorporated system make it a light LitRPG .
Side characters and lore is good with very interesting world building .
The protagonist is not a whimp , has emotional intelligence and is blessed with some heavy arsenal .
