Description
Arc 1 - Azzarath:Origin Point begins with a celebration of the arrival of an Immortal, male kitsune. Whereupon he begins to spin the tale of his origins to a gathered crowd well into such a celebration. The story he weaves begins upon his first world, our Earth, where his first body is dying from something incurable. He is then transferred into a game-like world, and gains a new body that is far stronger. However, this game-like world has its own secrets, which causes the MC to be summoned to a new world. It is here, in this new world, where his personality really comes forth, shaking the world to its very core.Arc 2 - Terra:The story continues with the kitsune's new audience, an army of monsters, as they journey from the forests of Nu'Bai and onwards towards the Lichdom known solely as Necropolis. Whereupon they learn of how he conquered worlds within an area known only as The Abyss. There, his past self meets new creatures and annoyances, as he and his continue to grow ever closer to obtaining their world called Terra.Arc 3 - Abyss:War. The end result in a conflict of words which fall upon deafened ears of those who could not come to an understanding; an agreement. Instead, they must fight one another so that one must come out on top in order to shout to the heavens, "I am right; you are wrong!" Thus is the same in this installment within the series of Origin Point, but instead of outright war, the Ageless speaks to a new audience of Gods, Goddesses, Immortals, and their children of how his past self had to venture into the tutorial world known as Terra where he must fight a War of Attrition. This is so, as he must draw out the God reigning over their world so that he may fight and conquer this deity in order to regain what he desires most. His world. His Terra.Special Thanks to Christian Bentulan for creating the covers for Origin Point.https://www.facebook.com/coversbychristian/___________________________________________________________Origin Point was inspired by the games Everquest and D&D, along with the book series Dragonlance, and the light novel Overlord. This story is a dark fantasy full of torturous experiences. It is not for everyone, but it is tempered with some fluff.

- GuideGooseRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story is just perfect. So much effort is put into it, and you plan ahead by wide margins. Your grammar is fantastic, and the use of old words completely fits the theme that the story is trying to put forth. The story that accompanies the action is also wonderful to read, and it isn't just mindless fighting but explains everything. The actions may be repetitive at times, but it really gives the reader the feeling of how desperate the Ageless was to get back to his planet Terra and how bored he must have been doing the same thing over and over again, and his want to escape the Abyss. This is by far my favorite story on royalroad, and the only thing that I like better than this is Overlord. And, considering I read Overlord like 5 times as a whole, and to this day continue to go back and reread it, that says something.
- AlsavirRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0the dark fantasy genre is just too rare here, and to be honest i like it the most. For the story per say, i don't have may things to criticize about it. I like how you build it up, the character progression and how the story and the world unfolds. To be honest I didn't expect the ending, were the tribunal was slain (briliant btw).
To keep it short a great read, and nice buildup of the dark fantasy genre. Keeping a eye on this one :) - Nommy4679Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0The work is good. Be it grammar or structure wise; interesting too.
People shouldn't shoot it down if they are uncomfortable with the contents of this story.
And I like the demi-children. They ooze adorableness. :D - kites11Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5I am no expert on reviews. But this story while containing dark elements is Great. I binge read up to the current chapter as of this review Chapter 53. And would recommend it to anyone that wants to read a darker story then is often written on this site.
- faultlesselm16Royal Road★★★★ 4.0personally i love it decent grammer and a very very dark mc witch is my favorite type of mc
however he isnt insane witch was well done very well done
so far im just about to start arc 3 but still very good i have been binging it for 2 days now - CruxioRoyal Road★★★ 3.0Not really my thing because
1. OP from the start
2. No one besides the MC gets character development
3. Easy mode
But i’ll definitely read this whenever i am on sadism mode
edit: My judgement was too early. now reading arc 2.. lets see
edit2: nope, still the same verdict. From my pov. There is no "adventure" no "conflict/hurdles/problems" he just mows them all down. No drama, although the tortures are entertaining they get boring and redundant later on, everything this story has(as of now) is getting repetitive and boring over time. 5star to 3 star - BoredBeyondBeliefRoyal Road★★★ 3.0After rereading, I realized this stories has a lot of issues. The characters are rather lacking, though still are pretty interesting. The plot is pretty much everywhere, and there's various other issues i'm too lazy to write down.
I personally liked and hated the protaganist, I wrote a entire review down beforehand in my head but again it was more about the fact that the author likely can't relate to the characters thus making them dull and somewhat lifeless.Story would be better if written by someone who has dealt with things such as depression to give a better view to a story with a somewhat grim setting like this.Worst part I would likely say is the fact that a lot of characters were simply thrown away. - Hei_BK-201Royal Road★★★ 2.5I read up til chapter 19 and the story was so-so. Alright, actually there wasn't much of a story. Just the MC being completely, and I mean completely, irrational.
*SPOILER ALERT* All he really does is butcher the people who either annoy him, disobey him, or hurt children. That's all. He's completely enthralled with whatever malicious acts he commits for the day to the point where it's annoying and predictable. I got to the part of the 'story' where he is making plans to slaughter some bear-kin tribe, who happen to be so incredibly kind it's "creepy," in his own words, since they resist the poison on his bones and a member of the bear-kin tribe was a member of the 'heroes' party. I'm sorry what? The rationale in that is incredibly immaterial and inconsequential. - LazytophatRoyal Road★★★ 2.5So I have been wanting to read this for some time now but would put it off due to the reviews that were here. I eventually started reading it a few days ago and now I have my final verdict but that will be reserved till I finish my thoughts. So the style of the book is kinda like a person with an incurable disease goes into a cr world (generic as usual) but he then gets transported to another world to complete a "tutorial" as another race of his choice, ok its kinda different. The story is somewhat interesting from that point on with the dark plot and rape/torture/killings in it and I did not see any obvious grammar mistakes. What started to turn me off around 50 chapters in was the fact that everything was so similar. The MC is op as hell as nothing is a challenge to him since he can 1 shot anything in existence so there is no real struggle in the story since the MC demolishes anyone as I said before and there is little build on his character since he is just an evil dick. Granted he has some sort of "rule" where he does not harm or hurt children and even if he does he talks about how bad he feels about it but like every 20 or so chapters he brutally murders a child and barely does anything afterwards going against what he feels. His character is the only one in the story that gets any development IF any at all and goes around raping, destroying, and torturing everyone and everything on the simplest of wims. The torture parts were mildly interesting but there is only so much room for interesting dark torture parts before you cross a line which he has not done so all we have is slightly varying torture parts that start to loose their luster after like the 7th. In the end I dropped this story around halfway since I just would skim the entire chapter and move to the next one. I would not read this again nor would I STRONGLY recommend this to someone to read but I would not be against mentioning it to someone if they wanted something to read. This is an ok story but af
- gnarlytreemanRoyal Road★ 0.5The story ceases to be a “story” shortly after the tutorial world. At that point it just get stupid, lots of rambling, shifted from story plot and speach to bad rp speach pattern. Often spends a paragraph to describe someone who sees a pointless death the next chapter.
I read it cause i was bored. Its not publication material, barely passable as a concept story, and the only character not expendable is the mc, which causes what little plotline there is to shift, and sway.
I wasted a day *sigh*
