This story will have a total of three arcs:

Arc 2, The Baphomet War: 420 pages (complete)
Arc 3, The Mad Queen of Carnage: (in progress)

Ultimately, I'm writing this for enjoyment. If you enjoy it too, fantastic!
Gore: Extremely infrequent, but moderately intense.
Profanity: There are a few swear words here and there, as well as some more creative insults.
Traumatizing Content: While I'm at it, there are some questionable morals displayed (mostly after chapter 77). So far we can check off slavery, brainwashing, war, and genocide.
This story starts off very Light Novel-ish because I was reading a lot of them at the time. The writing style gradually matures as it goes. Sorry, but I don't have the stamina to go back and fix everything, even if I know it gets pretty roughshod at times.
New readers, please keep in mind, I make use of "unreliable narrators" at times.
My story accepts donations, but it is free to read and I've only uploaded it here.
Lastly, Orc Lord is a member of theWriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying ending. One of my long breaks triggered a dishonor, but I'll redeem it someday when it's actually finished. I'm the ultimate necromancer author. ;P

- AvidReader9508Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Ok, I just gotta tell you how amazing this story is. The grammar is good, very easy to understand, the character creation is pretty damn amazing. Background and fleshing of the world is awesome. The main character is strong but still has to work for the strength not just given at beginning of the story. All in all its one of the best stories I have read so far here and I hope that this story continues long into the future.
- joempireRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Really enjoyed this so far. No grammar or spelling mistakes that I can remember.
The story moves along quite quickly. I can see the logical progression of events. Not just one OP addition after thenext.
I especially like the style of doing fast-slow chapters. One will be just an outline kinda of what happened recently because it wasnt all that interesting or meaningful. The next may be minute by minute story telling.
The flavor of the main character is light and friendly while still being realistic. She is interesting and yes wants to do some crazy but nothing overly "dark" or "heroic" Yes, Im also happy there is no harem or other tomfoolery. - KluvialRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story surprised me honestly. When I saw female monster main character I thought this might be a little rapey but I was glad to find that was not the case. The character growth is moderate and logical. The same with the skill acquisition. Also the character makes wise choices and seeks knowledge to expand.
Very good overall. - cbwRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0the only downside to this story as of chapter 61 is that there are only that many chapters out that i can binge darn

let me kidnap you
why
well we need you to help us "get rid" of other people we've kidnapped:))
story is fun it its good on details idk what to say other than that im loving it - OninomadRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story isn't reinventing the wheel so far, it's a familiar feeling a story but but it's doing everything well. So far it honestly has no glaring weaknesses, the story feels fresh and fun even with a premise that feels "done before", I find no fault in the grammar and the style has that inner monologuing found in many Asian novels but doesn't feel trite or overdone. I expect this to be one of those stories that's start showing up on several different list, it's just too solid so far not to.

Spoiler: Spoiler
This story is also not as dark as your typical orc reincarnation. The MC's tribe seem to be stick to their own plot of land and hunt animals instead of raiding humans. They also actually mate among each other rather than capturing and raping human women. Although they are from the "neutral" faction rather than the "devil worshippers" or "expansionist" factions, neither of which was seen yet.
The grammar is great, the story feels almost like slice of life at times. The system is a bit more interesting than usual compared to the typical fare from such stories.
MC is a bit too op though, she feels like she is playing on easy mode. Which I feel detracts a bit from the story. - Everyman McBeigeRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5The title of the review says it all, not really many new plot points here folks but still an interesting story so far (up to current chapter of 81). Main character is powerful and if I remeber correctly hasn't lost a single fight, and her "power level" keeps rising, often just as a challenge appears. The supporting characters have personality, nothing super 2-D, but don't expect much from them. The pacing is a bit fast but in all honesty these stories generally move quickly. The change in the main character's personality is quick almost as quick as she gains abilities. For the author I would caution you about the speed of growth for the main character the fast track to OP will kill most fictions eventually. Let the charater grow into her power, not just a "use it once and have it become something even more powerful" situation.
- knifexthriveRoyal Road★★★ 3.0sadly it looks like it is on hiatus.
It's ok. This story is just sorta something I come back to once in a while when I am bored and the stories I mainly follow are not updating. Not to be very critical, but it is not a 5/5 type of story. I consider it an old classic with a bit of semblance to re:monster. There are some mistakes in each chapter. but they are not to be described as unbearable. The story has a rough bumpy start with the MC not being fleshed out that thoroughly since I couldn't care much at the start for her. the story picks up and discusses a lot of topics such as power, responsibility, rape, and other dark topics. the story is written using a very straightforward type of thinking such as this happened, then that next is, and so on. side characters are not really fleshed out and feel more 2D than I would like in the stories I read. the style is passable for me and the highest scored out of the 4 areas to be scored, and I would like to thank the author for writing the story.
the following is my opinion and didn't score the story based on it entirely, but it did weigh into it a bit. I don't enjoy reading stories that spring dark topics on you without fleshing the story first. I want to invest in the character first and relate to it before discussing the morality and the subject of dark topics and dark immoral thoughts. It is like the concept of lets us know each other before confiding and discussing topics with each other. - Not_A_HatRoyal Road★★★ 2.5EDIT: As of about chapter 77, the story takes a sharp tonal swerve for a while and starts dabbling in things like mind-rape, slavery, and suchlike, which rather soured the tone for me. Not that I totally object to such things in stories, but since the tone was a good part of what I enjoyed, and the serve felt hamfisted and pointless, I'm downgrading my rating to two-and-a-half; pretty much meh. It doesn't go totally grimderp or something, so I haven't dropped it.
PREVIOUS REVIEW:
If you want a story about a reincarnator that is only slightly overpowered, not angst-filled, doesn't have an instant win cheat, isn't an asshole, but still manages to get a fair amount of stuff done and tries to do good with the circumstances they've landed in, this one's for you.
It's not particularly deep or intricately plotted, but it's pretty enjoyable and it dodges a lot of the annoing clichés that these stories seem to pick up. The characters are not two dimensional, and the plot events have some thought put into them. The MC's previous life is not totally brushed aside, either; it has an effect on her character going forwards. The spelling and grammar aren't perfect, but they're totally readable, so I'm not bothered.
Oh, and female MC is different, so that's cool. Although it also surprised me because 'Orc Lord', not 'Orc Lady' or something.
This is definitely better than average in my opinion, and it has potential to be even better than that, if we start seeing some deeper plot work and character development. Updates have, so far, been pretty fast, which is always a plus.
Thanks for writing, Author!
