It wasn't supposed to be like this.

"Don't c-cast, just wait!"  the woman said with a quivering voice.  One of the boys was conjuring a snowball.  Lin turned back and forced a grin.

"Don't worry, I got this," she said and made a gesture.  The woman screamed as the fireball wentodd.
