One Must Imagine Viktor Hungry

The physical planes barriers have collapsed.

And the Primordial Entity Colloquially known as "The System" won't risk losing it's bounty again, The Ikarus Protocol will either claim earth or destroy it.

Viktor Bloodstonewas skipping high school graduation and contemplating what his future would look like as an ex-gangster with an unknown degenerative disease and a ruined mind full of voices when the Ikarus protocol made it clear that his past might not be the weakness he thought it was, and his future wasn't promised.

Viktor Awoke after the systems initialization to realize he had been reclassified as a hybrid entity with a host of mutations that would offer him the opportunity to be whole again, and far more than he ever was before, if he was willing to further divorce himself from his humanity.

What to expect:

- A Story about a young man trying to survive his new world and apocalyptic reality where a system that seems intent on sticking him in the role of villain reigns supreme.

- A complex LITRPG system that offers levels, classes, evolutions, and mutations with no limit to the number of skills and abilities one can gain.

- POV will rarely, if ever, shift from the Main character, Viktor.

- Lots of Magic and Sci-fi both early and later on, with Romance later in the story as well.

- Survival and realistic survival focus early on.

- The main character will be smart and a bit sociopathic and can be expected to act callous and cruel at times. This is a villainous lead story.

- Expect depictions of mental illness such as Depression, PTSD, and other mental illnesses. If these topics are upsetting to you, I would advise reader discretion.

Rebooting the story everyone. I'm hoping now with a bit more experience i can do this world the justice it deserved and i couldn't before

    Sometimes you need to see the harsh reality of truly harsh things, barebones. And this is what this novel excels at. Written in first person, it narrates the story of an unconventional protagonist. Not unconventional in premise--for the psycho murderhobo with prior problems is nothing uncommon. But unconventional in execution, because instead of being a blank slate the main character is loaded with baggage.
    You see the descent before the (maybe) ascent. You see how the system encourages despicable behavior. You see how circumstances force good people to do evil, and truly eff'd up people to do much worse.
    This is the author's first attempt at writing, and i have been there from the very beginning. I have seen concepts turn into pages of prose, get polished and finally hit that sweet release chapter button. It was a journey, much like Viktor's journey, one that with its raw primal flavor will surely leave you wanting for more
    If you see the swap icon, it's because I got to know the author through my own novel. And it was a pleasure to read his.

    Much as the title says this story is about a lunatic in the apocalypse with semi unique abilities, the whole eating creatures for power has been done a lot by this point however its very rare to find a story this visceral and that in my opinion doesn't overdo the gore. Make no mistake the story is extremely graphic however the author makes the violence feel necessary theres a reason behind it more often than not, not just violence for the sake of it.

    will probably update this over time. upon first opening the book, i was immediately drawn to the initial chaos that the story starts out with. jacked up outfit and struggling with mental health crap. this guy totally has his life together, right? riiight...its a good resonant point to start from. nice work so far, though im just getting started with this work.
    i love the versioning at the beginning. im a numbers freak and seeing dev cycles like this help me see how individual pieces of the story have evolved more often than others. its like having a window into the authors head and it really shows where the author put the most of his thoughts into. anyway, really looking forward to digging into this one.

    It's not very often that you come across an MC that is genuinely just unabashedly bonkers like this one. Great change of pace, seeing a character that's so utterly alien that you cannot even relate to him.
    The descriptions are a little too graphic for my tastes, but they're just short enough that it isn't entirely off putting, instead helping to further exacerbate the sheer intensity of a given situation and how adept Viktor is at hurting others in ways that count.
    Looking forwards to seeing more of this utter weirdo MC.

    It was good, interesting premise and has a lot of potential. The themes of Viktor growing to overcome not only outside adversity, but deeper mental and personal issues through that is always fun to see, and something I often miss in LitRPGs. Hope you continue this and see it through to the end.
