Description

-- Found ONLY on Royal Road --Reborn upon his death, Luke is ready to grab this new world and take it by storm!

Though, he'll probably find that difficult without hands. Or other appendages.

Reborn as the most basic of basic slimes in a massive dungeon descending deep into the heart of the world, filled with monsters designed to kill and survive, Luke doesn't let the bad times get him down! If the world gives you lemons, make lemonade! Or, in this case, survive and thrive by leveraging the untapped potential of your non-Newtonian form! Bring on the Slime-Age!

Oh, this world is also full of Guilds, nations, and organisations packed to the rafters with superhuman monster hunters that could use him to butter their toast for breakfast? And there are monsters older, leaner and meaner than him fighting just as hard to survive and thrive? Eh, I'm sure he'll be fine. It's not like there's anything concerning going on up on the surface that would make folks descend into the dungeon, right? What's that? Oh...

[What to expect:MC is a monster and will mutate and gain skills to increase their strength. There's gonna be very few numbers, most of them to do with collecting resources. Little to no attention will be paid to big number stats, the meat of interactions and combat will be be found in skills and mutations.Optimistic, go-with-the-flow MC.

Inspired by Chrysalis, of RinoZ. This story uses the same/a very similar leveling and evolution system, because it's an inspired system that is easier on my brain. At least until Chapter 13, there's not going to be much in the way of conversation between characters due to the limited number of creatures willing to communicate with the MC. This will change as they learn more about the world and meet new people/not-quite-people. Instead, the MC is quite happy talking to themselves and keeps himself going with little pep talks here and there! This is my first time ever posting something I've written to any platform, constructive criticism is immensely appreciated!]

Early going, but getting definite Chrysalis vibes from this story of a young man (Luke) reincarnated as a baby slime. The author seems to have an interesting world lurking in the background (with a monster surge on its way to threaten the civilization above the Dungeon).
Well written story, well conceived world from what we've seen so far.

I honestly thought it was a good read, a little short but I definitely enjoyed reading it, fairly well written and I hope it gains more traction and popularity. It doesn't seem like the main character is going to just be a 2d boring character and I believe the system will be pretty flushed out, will say the system is seeming like it takes inspiration from chrysalis, but I am not fully sure as there are so many of these system novels that all of them seem inspired by others, even if unrelated

This is the kind of story that you decide to check out since it has a very interesting premise, thinking of reading a chapter or two. But then you stay with it, and when you hit the last line published, you want more.
The style of the story is simple and direct.  The system that the dungeon follows is easy to follow and comes out rational and well-designed.  I wish there would be a bit more conversation since I like that kind of writing, but that is my own personal preference, and I did not want to downrate this story just based on that.
The story belongs in the dungeon realm and has a lot of familiarity with the stories in the genre.  But I believe people should not complain about that issue since the author composed it using his own voice and style which makes it unique.
Grammar is perfect for all that I could tell. and I certainly did not find any parts that needed editing.
Also, the MC grows on you rather fast.  It helps that the author produces good-sized chapters so that a reader has enough material and details to connect with the story and its participants.
I hope that the author continues producing at the same quality level and that the story grows in months to come.

    Style:
Highly visual writing. An excellent way with worlds of that makes me ‘see’ what is happening, easily. (Haha)
Funny. Like, makes me giggle in my airplane seat as I read offline mode funny.
    And the prose is beautiful.
    Story:
It is hilarious. The overall story is just taking form and shape, but this is like watching a newborn (killer) take its first baby steps, where everything is a challenge, and it is so much fun!
Another aspect is how high tempo the story has in progression, and I love that.
Let’s not forget about the mystery. By narrowing the senses of the MC, the mysteries are expanded, in a way that is exciting without being frustrating. Excellent writing.
    Character:
To write a slime story I perceive is no simple task. Especially when they start out unable to see. How do you even do that?
If you are BeeGneiss, then you do it very well indeed, that’s what.
    And it’s hilarious.
How is it possible to make me feel so much in common with a slime? Maybe that says more about me than Luke? :P
    Grammar
Nearly flawless. No problems to speak of.
All in all I would highly recommend this story, because it is fun, with relatable and funny character, and it takes you on an exciting ride!

In my opinion I think this story has a lot of potential. as a monster evolution story it is nice to see a system inspired by chrysalis and I always like a monster evolution story that starts with a very weak mc. So I will be looking forward to the rest of the story.

I know that the first reaction of many people seeing the synopsis is that it's going to be a parody, or possibly a copy, of "My reincarnation as a slime."  This is wholly untrue, and the only thing that is shared between the two is a premise. Instead of a rapid climb to power after meeting some being of supreme importance, the MC has to struggle. The MC gets dropped into a hostile environment, and has to adapt
The only real issue that I have is the MC seems to be happier than he should be. This seems to come from him becoming a slime, and it is hinted at through the chapters. I will give a warning to some that the novel does have gruesome scenes, but these are just part of the ecosystem out MC finds himself in. The grammar style, and structure have a nice flow that is enjoyable to read. The MC does tell jokes along the way, but it only adds to the charm of the novel.
I implore you to read this novel if the premise of the novel , or anime interests you. I'm reviewing this at chapter 13, and I binged my way here in a single sitting. I cannot wait to see where this novel goes, and with the hits of extra world building included, I'm sure it's going to remain interesting throughout the novel run.

I saw this in rising stars, and thought I'd give it a go. Needless to say, I gave it a follow pretty quick.
The writing style and the minor LitRPG elements are just right. Give it a go! I promise it's worth it.

This is so much fun to read. Luke experiencing slime life is a lot of fun. Maybe a little ADD. I look forward to reading Lukes slime life journey and seeing what he will make of his new life.  I wonder what will happen if or when Luke meets up with humans, Will he find acceptance like he did when he found another Slime?

based on the past upload speed, it seems like this work may be on hiatus. I'm looking forward to when more is uploaded, where it left off almost seems like a cliffhanger. I enjoyed it a lot more near the end when more characters were introduced and the magic system was explained. It seems unique and I kinda hope it stays that way. If I see something similar in stories in the future at least I'll know where it came from. The MC having realistic reactions for how a human would act mixed with his new slime "instincts" is refreshing after all the stoic protagonists and overpowered heroes. In my opinion the anime which has a similar premise picked up too fast and didn't have any of the struggle to survive that low level mobs would experience in a dungeon. I don't really have any issues apart from how slow it is coming out, but I can't exactly blame you for having a life. Some people just write faster than others and that's alright, go at your own pace and don't sacrifice the quality of your work just to make impatient fans happy. You'll thank yourself when you see the finished product and don't have to edit much. I think this could easily be turned into a comic or animation series once it is finished, possibly some animated shorts to promote it. You've made something special and I would hate to see it forgotten once it is done. Things like this story have pulled me away from the brainrot that is short form videos and helped get me back into reading.
