If you're interested in the premise, I will give some exposition on what to expect.
First and foremost, the story, especially at the beginning, can have a slow pace to flesh out the world and characters. The plot will follow the parasite's second life in a new world in which Magic exists. Rather than focusing too much on non-stop and nonsensical fights, there will be a lot of focus on Arthur's psychological issues, his motives and beliefs. His views on the new world and opinions on moral relativism, the ruling aristocracy, the study of historical records and so on...
Instead of a direct plot from beginning to end (Such as the generalized 'Defeat the Demon King), this story is more about self-discovery and the unraveling of ancient mysteries and forgotten history. It is about the character development of not only Arthur but other characters and how their actions affect the world.
Arthur isn't inherently noble or unconditionally just, but he also isn't purely driven by lunacy or evil-oriented intentions.
The MC is neither OP nor pitifully weak. This is not about someone reincarnated into a world just to become an undefeated force that simply kills everyone.
There will be chapters dedicated to Lore or the travails of supporting characters.
There arerelativelydetailed maps that I've created myself, which can be found here:
The maps contain SPOILERS about regions and locations.

There will be a System, one which isn't overly-complex nor too simplistic. In the beginning, at least, it is more of a visual and numerical representation of the MC's growth as he learns more about his Race and what it is capable of.
Without delving into any details, the following are what you will find in this story: Exploring the world; Meeting new people, discovering fascinating cultures, deepening one's understanding of existence's history, delving into Politics.
At some points, the story will be dark and quite disturbing.
Chapters are between 1500 and 3000 words.
One last thing: I'm not a native English-speaker, therefore, my grammar isn't flawless. I try my best to make everything coherent and enjoyable, but I might make a mistake or two along the way. If you notice anything, be sure to let me know and I will fix it.
Apologies in advance and I hope you like the story.

- Baron HARDRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0What would happen if an isekai took over the body of a Goauld parasite and it went to a grimdark medieval world? Your curiosity has been satisfied. Thus we see how the Goauld empire will be born in a medieval world of magic. Ra will live eternally upon the mortal masses.
- FaleranRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love stories that do something exotic like this, better than seeing another story about being reincarnated as a goblin or one of the typical fantasy races. A parasite race is very interesting and I am excited to see how far the Author can take it this race.
Story is well thought out with the characters' personalites quite well detailed. Arthur is defintely an enjoyable main character with the funny way he acts as a parasite.
The pace is very good with Arthur moving on to the next thing or place in a reasonable fashion, never felt like things were getting boring throughout reading this story.
The use of AI generated pictures is strange but I suppose it works, though the use of it to create portraits is neat and works pretty well. One thing however is that the scenery pictures of like of one of the towns is very strange looking and looks too trippy, so this tech has its limitations. - undetectedRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So far, I found the story quite entertaining.
It mainly follows the second life of the protagonist as he’s reincarnated into a parasite (Maybe?). There are a lot of mysteries revolving around Arthur. And With each volume, it is progressively getting better and better.
The release schedule was slow, but it has gotten consistent.
Style: Conversations between characters are descriptive and good. The flow of the chapters might not be flawless but it’s not too detrimental to the reading experience. Especially in the first volume, but I think that’s because the author wanted to introduce the characters and the world.
Story: There are 4 volumes so far, but each one has been a blast for me and I like how it doesn’t just focus on Arthur. The cast is wide and the characters are well-introduced.
For me, the story really kicks in after volume 1, as it is when we’ve got a basic understanding of what a parasite is and a glimpse of Arthur's motives.
Grammar: There are some typos and questionable mistakes, but they aren’t that numerous nor are they overly-annoying. Overall, it really isn’t a bad read and only those who are bothered by small mistakes will find it annoying.
Characters: This is where the Author excels at it, I think. The cast of the story, though small at the beginning, continues to expand. The good thing is that almost all characters are given enough screen time to know who they are and figure out their intentions.
Arthur, albeit slowly and steadily, is growing as a character.
Simply put, the story doesn’t always focus on the MC, and there are instances where a different perspective make the entire thing better.
Last but not least is world-building and lore. Some may find them excessive, but it’s subjective. After all, most of them aren’t necessary to understand the plot. They might be in the future, but for now they are just there to enrich the history and the world.
Now I gotta mention some personal nitpicks(may contain spoilers):
-The MC sometimes makes decisions - Ascended RaccoonRoyal Road★★ 2.0Interesting premise, way too much exposition for me to get into. Weird tense changes broke immersion, a lot of telling and not a whole lot of showing. The author wants to just state how Arthur is and what is going on in his head without allowing Arthur to show you what’s going on in his head. Telling me “Arthur will do anything to survive” isn’t the same as putting Arthur into a situation where he has to do something morally questionable to survive. Arthur doesn’t seem to have his own voice, the author is just forcing facts and ideas onto a wooden doll.
- EsperRoyal Road★★ 2.0The story has some potential to be something great and it has a lot of great factors to set it apart from other second life stories out there. Unfortunately to me it also has a lot of major areas that it lacks quality in. The characters seem very flat and one dimensional, the story progresses quickly while also feeling like nothing of worth is happening. The dialog could use some work, and the general description of places, people, feelings and otherwise could use a touch up here and there.
