On the Sands Beneath the Sun

The Wandering Sands, as they are called by the nomadic populations that inhabit the area, sprawl across the landscape for as far as the eye can see. Somewhere within the sand rests a temporary campsite filled with colorful caravans and a close-knit clan. Geo, a young religious woman known among her clan as the best storyteller in the whole of the desert, gathers her equipment for an urgent scouting mission. The shield she straps to her back features the golden silhouette of a great Sphinx, the entity her people pray to. With an upcoming storm, the clan must quickly prepare to move on to their next location. If only the Wandering Sands were more forgiving.
