Description

Can you do it again? Can you confront pain, tragedy, heartbreak, betrayal, guilt, and loss? The consequences of your actions? If you've lost it all, can you continue to advance, stepping forward one last time? Can you face a world of cruelty if it means finding the beauty in it? Can you dedicate your heart? If you can, I'll be waiting on the bench. (AOT/DxD)

I cannot recommend this work enough! It is an incredible deep dive into both of the worlds (although more on DxD) and the motivations of the characters involved. If you are looking for a bunch of battles with Eren going beastmode then this doesn't have that, not until the very end at least. But if you want a deep dive into characters and a strong story that keeps you hooked. Then look no further!

It's honestly one of the best if not the best DXD fanfic.
This story wasn't made for how the MC is all powerful and wins all the fights or how he gets all the girls, it's just conversation between Eren and the rest; but the way the story is told and how the author describes each character and how they change after meeting Eren makes this a gem.
There is also more going behind the scenes that we still don't know that makes you curious and wish to know more.

Edit: I've completed this book and found both the journey and conclusion REALLY enjoyable. So, overall, I'd highly recommend giving this series a try.

I've been reading this fanfiction on Spacebattles and find it quite enjoyable. The author's choice of placing Eren into the High School DxD universe is unusual but interesting. I'd recommend giving it a try once more chapters are released, since waiting for chapter can be torturous. Either way, one notable aspect is the author's skill in integrating Eren into the lives of the original characters. Unlike some fanfictions, where the inserted character feels out of place, here, Eren fits seamlessly into the existing narrative. This enhances the overall reading experience, making the story engaging and authentic. Also, the author does a great job showcasing he original DxD cast and the unique views and personalities each carry, with the same being said about how Eren has been affected as a result of his actions at the end of Attack on Titans original story.
Word padding and general review summary:  the author's storytelling and the unique crossover choice make this fanfiction worth a read. I look forward to future chapters and recommend it to those interested in a well-executed blend of characters and worlds. Also, the author does a great job expanding on how Eren might feel after the events of the main story of Attack on Titan.

I won't say I'm completely satisfied with the story, because I'm not. But I will say the story is very well written and I enjoyed myself. The story isn't as happy as I had hoped, and really there isn't quite a harem, only Issei really got one. I liked the ending, just wish I got to read how it works out, as the interpersonal relations between the characters is what I like most in what I read. I'd say, I recommend you try the story out, it does a good job of catching your interest in the beginning and the mysteries pay off. I believe it might be a matter of preference that I'm not fully satisfied. Thanks for the story.

Daaaaaaaaaaamn I did not expect this, at all.
To be honest the beginning was kinda slow? Like stuff was happening yes but it was uninteresting? It was more of a philosophical talk more often than not with Eren giving his wisdom and such, interesting for a couples of chapters but meeh so I skipped like 20 chapters to the end! And would you believe it? I still liked the story and the end? Oh the end! It was chilling! On a side note I haven't watched dxd so I wasn't really invested on the rating games plot and the whole thing with the devils so although I skipped 20 chapters I don't feel like I missed much? A good chunk of the novel is just high school dxd AU with some slight differences there and there ( didn't watch the anime but I read the summary ) and eren occasionally doing something ( mostly talking) so like I said before, slow pacing so it can be a little boring from time to time.
Anyway the ending was totally worth it and by ending I mean the chapter  " from you a world away" , what happens after that? It's debatable and anyway it fits with the shonen theme I guess? So whatever.
