Old Man's Game

Marcus Klein is a man in ruins. Once a violent youth wandering the streets of a decaying town, he later served as a soldier, enduring the forests of Eastern Europe and the deserts of the Middle East. Years of injuries compelled him to settle down, but three decades later, his life is in disarray. His marriage is a hollow shell, he has not spoken to his daughters in nearly a decade, and he's been unemployed for almost five years. When offered a position on a classified Full Dive VR project by the world’s leading tech corporation, he abandons everything to join. While rediscovering the peace, vitality, and violence absent from his real life, he soon finds himself trapped in a perilous game from which there is no escape.
