Old Growth

Vee Hanes has been through hell, trying to navigate raising her young son in the wake of a turbulent divorce and piecing her life back together after years spent under the oppressive thumb of an overbearing family. But just when it seems things are starting to get back to a manageable state, the disappearance of her estranged grandfather thrusts her right back into the world of her childhood, which may as well have belonged to an entirely different person. Long-buried memories must resurface though, along with secrets that may well determine not only her own fate, but that of her son and the ancient woods from which those secrets came.
