Description
**New versionhere**
The world has been edging towards chaos since its first day. In the beginning, cousin gods fight for land, ultimately leading to all other events—a girl who hears voices that fights for a heritage she doesn’t know, black ships sail across seas and conquer, a king later struggles with life at war, and an occupied nation strikes back. The cousin gods began a war that would eventually end with twin boys fighting alongside and against each other, thousands of years later.
Every moment, past and present, matters. But is it too late for them to change their fates?
Please note that the first two chapters read differently than the others, so if you’re interested in the story but don’t like reading the first part, just skip to chapter 3; the plot picks up shortly afterwards.

- CloudfallRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Cover: Simple but good.
Synopsis: Well written synopsis. It really tells the readers what the book is all about in a descriptive way. It draws the readers in.
Grammar: Excellent. No error that could affect the flow of the story.
Story: The story is a mixture of high fantasy, tragedy and war. From what ive read, the story is developing really well.
Style: Third person narration. Well used.
Characters: So far, they're well written, especially the two main characters, Gin and Kuro. Great work.
Overall: Great piece of work. - Josh WellsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overall: Very nice story to read! It is a refreshing break from the norm. It is also quite easily digestible. This novel will make you crave more. My rating is 5/5 here.
Style: The story is structured into easily digestible paragraphs, each containing enough description to immerse the reader and not any more words, in excess, than needed. The subject of each section remains constant, which is an excellent thing in not breaking a storys immersivity. My rating is 5/5 here.
Story: The story is a refreshing break from the litrpgs and isekais that traditionally populate this website. The story is a traditional fantasy novel, and while I am only among the beginning chapters of the novel, I can see lots of plot points being set up for the future and some nice twists to the typical tropes. My rating is 5/5 here.
Grammar: Flawless. Nothing wrong here that I could notice. My rating is 5/5 rating.
Character: Each character exchanges dialogue relatively frequently. Each exchange provides the author an opportunity to express the thoughts/opinions of each character, and I am happy to say that each of these seems in line with the character the author is trying to craft. My rating is 5/5 here. - A V DalcourtRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0It's a joy to read something that's not a lit RPG or iskekai. What this writer does well is insinuate a lot of culture into the characters speech, actions and motives, bringing a culturally rich Japanese-esque setting to life.
Style: This is where the bulk of my complaints lay, but should be taken with a grain of salt as I recognize that this is a personal preference over any real criticism to the writer's work. Also the style suits the light RR story telling styles of the many fictions that populate this site. As a result, it tends to blend in with everything else I've read. That said, with very little effort on the writers part - because I believe she has the talent for it - if she invested a bit of energy in immersing the reading in the events instead of just telling us what happened (show vs tell), it may lead to a much richer and visceral reading experience. Otherwise it's a light read with a quick pacing that's well suited to the RR platform.
The second element that took me out was the use of unusual terms. Being of Western decent with only light knowledge of Asian cultures, I found the constant reference to unfamiliar terms a bit jarring. It's the same issue I have with high fantasy made up towns, organizations, magical terms, and weapons. At least in this case, I do recognize that these term actually to exist and refer to something. An easy fix is to mention what it is after the first instant it's used.
Story: The first two chapters read as a prologue highlighting the core mythology behind the story. I'm kind of torn about these two chapters - on the one hand the prologue mythology style would do very well as a telling only. But that thought is often interrupted by the writers momentary efforts in bringing the reader down into a few key moments, like while the two godlings are fighting and again when they are being anointed into godhood. Doing both didn't work for me, as this section is designed to just give readers a foundational before the story kind of kn
